I got a car a couple months ago. Brand new. Hadn’t even hit 3000 miles yet, and it crapped out on me. Sat on hold for a while with roadside assistance and they sent someone out to jump it and see if that fixed it. It didn’t, so the guy who jumped my car said, «I’ll call my buddy Todd. He’ll help you out.» He left and went about his night, and I was alone in a parking lot at 2 AM. Not even 5 minutes pass by and I get a call from Todd, saying he was on his way from another city. Within 30 minutes he was there. Fast, friendly, and accommodating, Todd went above and beyond to help me out.
It’s a service you hope you never have to use… but if you do, I’d recommend no one but Todd from Harborside Towing!

Excellent, Fast, Safe and Reasonable Service. Todd was awesome and took very good care of my baby (Jeep 4×4) and me! I would most definitely recommend this tow company to anyone stranded or in need. Todd made me very much at ease and brought both my vehicle and me home safely and at an excellent price. Thank you again!

Sean just came back a second time to change out my tire. Only because there was a problem on my end the first time. Took 5 minutes to arrive. Friendly and honest. Would work with again for sure (but hope I never NEED to).

Best Towing Experience All Around!!! Super Knowledgable and years of experience in the area, which came in handy due to my situation.
And trust me that’s saying a lot given that this was one headache of a situation I’ve ever experienced with a car! That being said, Todd and Shawn at Harborside Towing, from the get-​go did what something most towing places could care less about, which is to put you at EASE!
I live in San Diego, and my car broke down on my drive home from LA, I had to do an emergency exit off the freeway around 10pm at night and coast my car to the first «safe» street that I could find, which happened to be off Camino Capistrano and into Dana Point. I was so stressed out and full of anxiety that when my friend picked me up I failed to even look at what street I had parked my car on!
As anyone that’s every broken down far from home knows, that it’s an ADDED pain in the A$$ to an already stressful circumstance!
But as soon as I got the towing clearance from my insurance and was then connected with Todd at Harborside, my stress and anxiety immediately dissipated. Todd, not only was friendly and courteous from the get! I was told by my insurance that I would need to be present with my vehicle’s keys when towing arrived, so I started to send out a couple urgent texts to see who could drive me from San Diego back up to Dana Point… and the first thing Todd did was tell me there was no need to drive all the way up there and reassured me that it wouldn’t be the slightest problem for them to get my vehicle without me present, It was another weight lifted! And what I thought would add further difficulty to the situation, when I informed him that I wasn’t exaaaactly sure on what street I had left my car on for two days, without hesitation he started walk me thru street by street, describing what it looked like to see if anything jogged my memory. After a few minutes he was confident he knew exactly where it was and even said his driver would just drive up and down the surrounding area until he found it!
Shawn, the driver called me within 5 minutes saying he had located my car and was in the process of getting it up on the tow and ready to head down to SD. I was utterly amazed and appreciative of the courtesy, patience and efficiently that this company displayed! My car arrived at my mechanic safely and in a very reasonable amount of time, given the fact that He had to face rush hour traffic! These guys were like a guardian angel saving me a whole lot of extra headache and frustration! I highly recommend them for any of your towing needs big or small, not just because they are trustworthy and efficient, but because I think when we can, we need to support mom and pop businesses that still understand the value of providing great customer service! I pray I don’t NEED to use them anytime again in the near future, but I would feel absolutely comfortable and confident and without hesitation call on them again!
