Established in 2005.

Beginning as a small private practice 10 years ago (Sept.1^st, 2005) with the dream of delivering the best hope available for addiction recovery, DayRise Recovery has grown into a national phenomena. We are honored to have been included for 2 years in a row (2014 – 2015) in Psychology Today Magazine’s annual definitive guide to the best treatment centers in the world.

We offer a blend of medical, counseling and holistic methods that are now being copied nationwide as the news of our success has spread. 2 years ago we started a support group especially designed for those seeking support for holistic recovery and that part of our program is expanding rapidly as well. It is our goal to have hundreds of these groups available through out the country in the next 10 years so that they are in easy distance to all who are seeking these newer and more effective models of treatment.

Michael O’Neal, LCDC-​ADC III aka «Mike The Drug Counselor» is one of the nation’s most influential addiction counselors. Prior to founding DayRise Recovery in 2005, Mike served as the Executive Director of the Cottage Inc. Treatment Center, Clinical Director for AIC Treatment Center, Family Program Counselor at the internationally renowned Summer Sky Treatment Center and Research Coordinating Counselor for TCU @ Gateway Foundation.
