Harley-Davidson of Dallas

Service staff could really use some lessons in basic human interactions. Came in to see about getting some work done, couldn’t get a word out anyone, not even hello except from the service manager.

I had a used Harley that I wanted to trade for something new. Harley-​Davidson of Dallas gave me an excellent deal on a new, leftover, 2015 Dyna. It was only after I rode it for about 250 miles that I accepted the fact that I had bought the wrong model. Good bike, but a step below what I was used to. I had traded in a Softail, and only a Softail could replace it. Now, I’m the kind of guy who’ll just bite the bullet rather than return something but since this involved a lot of money i thought I would write a letter to the sales manager to appeal to him to help me get out of the bike in a way I could afford. I was skeptical because they would be getting back a titled, last year’s model bike and we know how much the value of a new car or motorcycle drops the moment you drive it off the lot. Turns out that all I had to do was ask. Sales Manager Chris gave instructions to salesman Tyler to do everything possible to get me out of the Dyna and into a Softail, and boy, did they come through! Well, I was surprised, shocked really, when I was offered a new 2016 (one year newer) Softail Slim (what I really wanted I had decided) for considerably less money difference than what I had expected. What I expected was more money than I had but what I got I could cover. I’m very grateful to Chris and Tyler and parts man Jason, and service writer Brandon who all played a part in this. All great people and H-​D of Dallas will always get my Harley business.

This place is on point! They meet/​exceeded all of my expectations of a dealership. No «hard-​sell, high pressure tactics». The sales people (Heather/​Bryan) actually listen and make recommendations not based on what commission they will make but actually what will work best for the customer! I have purchased two bikes here and will continue to go here for all of my motorcycle needs!
The merchandise people (Jessica) were more interested in how I was doing/​what was I looking for than just sell sell sell.
Parts desk guys (Nic and Jessie) took the time to go over all the options available for what I was looking for (new seat, mirrors).
Service guys, same as the rest of the place, (Zach, Ryan) willing to take time and explain things (I’m new to motorcycles) and happy to do so.
Everyone I mentioned here feel like friends now, not just employees at the place I shop for bikes.
I would highly recommend Harley-​Davidson of Dallas.

My first time to this location, I was really impressed. This store was about twice the size of ours back home in the north Houston area. There were plenty of staff so you’re never walking around looking for help, they are always nearby and more than willing to help with any questions you may have. They really do treat you like family the moment you arrive there.

I purchased a 2002 fully custom Harley Davidson Road King. I have to say working with Jordan and Chris was awesome they really expressed how important it was for them to find me the right bike. I have owned several bikes in the past including Harley Davidson and has done business with other Harley Davidson dealerships in the metroplex. I first came in looking for A Dyna super glide and the guys at the shop expressed because I was an experienced rider and enjoyed taking longer trips I might want to look at a touring bike. I of course looked to see what the other Harley Davidson dealerships had to offer and found a bike that I absolutely loved at another dealership. I called Jordan and told him that I found another bike but wanted to see what he might of had come in in the last few days and he was more concerned about finding the right bike for me and encourage me if I felt that that was the better deal to go ahead and get it. I went in and met with Chris and Jordan and earlier that day they found a amazing bike that just came in on trade and went ahead and made me the deal of a lifetime. Chris also helped out with a lot of accessories he even came in on his day off to do the paperwork for me. I definitely will no longer do business with any other Harley Davidson dealership the shop is a bit of a drive for me but the entire staff there is so helpful that I will encourage everyone that I ride with to get their bikes from this dealership. This dealership is truly amazing and is only concerned with achieving customer satisfaction. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate all of their hard work.

Funny story… I’ve been out of riding for almost 8 years and I broke down on my Yamaha R1 behind of Harley Dallas. Normally pushing the bike would be no problem but I’m still recovering from a severely broken tibia. I called the guys from Maxim Honda-​Yamaha and told them I was very close and it would be awesome if they could have one of the techs help me push my bike to the shop (I was just I their showroom and it was packed full of employees goofing off because it was the end of day) Anyway they told me everyone at Maxim had left and basically I was SOL. I accepted because I felt a little awkward asking anyway because that’s just my personality. I began to push ignoring the pain in my leg.
As soon as I made the turn one of the Sales guys from Harley (Nick) saw me from a distance and came running to my assist. He grabbed my bike from me and pushed it over to their shop. I’ve never been more grateful. He brought me water as he could tell I was exhausted. I was invited in the showroom and the staff was amazing. They were there to help. Very friendly and accommodating. I still needed to get my bike to Maxim and Nick got the go ahead to help me push my bike next door. I told the man I owed him for his generous action and he said we are FAMILY and we take care of each other.
Moving the story along, I’ve finally made the decision to «can» the rice rocket and go the way I know which is back to a Harley. I was blown away by their attitude and customer service gesture that I received. I’ll be going in next week to see what these guys can put me in. I’m taking my business here just for a simple quote I live by…
«Character is what you do for people who cannot offer you anything back.» This seemed to be the case that day. Now I’ll be buying a Harley from them to show my support of how a business should treat all customers. Keep up the good work guys!

I have served in the military 21 years and have been to numerous HD dealers throughout the years. My throttle cable disconnected while home on leave. I brought it to This dealership for maintenance. From the moment I walked in, extremely helpful, not pushy and great employees. This by far has been the best harley dealer I have dealt with bar none! I would recommend to anyone. Keep up the great work!

Bought a 2014 Soft Tail Slim and I’m LOVING it!!!

I moved to the area in January when it was too cold to ride my Harley. Mine is a 2007 and I am seriously thinking of trading it in for a 2014 Rushmore. I hesitate because I am not riding as much here as I did in SoCal.
I have been to the dealership several times to drool over the new bikes and the sales staff there is always very helpful without being pushy. I loved taking the grqand kids here for the Christmas party. They had a great time with Santa and enjoyed siging Christmas songs with the band upstairs. They treat my grand kids like the future customers they will someday be!
I still have not made up my mind about the new bike but when I do I am pretty certain I will be able to make the deal right here.

This place is awesome. I was weary about goin to a dealership in Allen cause of the high rollers that live around there but they are kick ass. I dealt with Chris the sales boss I believe and a younger cat, Nick. Both were friendly, honest, and didn’t BS me at all. Although a new bike was out of my price range they still got me out of a car and on Harley where a bearded, tattooed, American man belongs.
And they will take trades on anything… from guns to Xbox’s.
