Looks like your typical Chinese buffet but it’s actually not. The food here is superb very delicious and very fresh. They have 4 stations of hot food a hibachi station and a sushi station. The hibachi is on point better than some bigger franchise hibachi joints I’ve been to. They have and array of chicken, steak and shrimp along with all different veggies some rice and noddles you can pick to give to the hibachi chef. The hibachi chef will cook your order in front of you and do like one or two tricks(he tried) hand claps for you. I did have the sushi and it was so so not something you would get at a sushi bar but it was do-able. They had your typical rolls of tuna and California rolls along with some specialty rolls that had no name nor what was inside of them(face palm). Try the spicy mayo though it was excellent and try adding it to the hibachi even better! I would recommend this place if I knew people in PA but unfortunately I don’t I was here on vacation but however I will be back when I come to visit sorbet park.

I am scared of these type of places… terrified !!! Dirty, the different foods all mixed together by careless diners and food that has no taste or is swimming in thick gloopy sweet sauces. I didn’t want to go !!! But my Aunt and Uncle who do so much for me asked me to come with them and how could I say no. Well I was shocked, the place was clean… spotless, the service was great, the minute you were done with a plate they got it off your table, there was many choices at their buffets… many, and the food was… dare I say good !!! I had 3 full plates before I was completely stuffed and could eat no more. Sure there was stuff that I had no intention of trying, like the stuff swimming in the thick sweet sauces, boring looking French fries, and no way it could be fresh sushi. But there were so many choices that I found things that looked ok and as it turned out I completely enjoyed everything I ate !!! Calamari salad that wasn’t rubbery, I have been in nice restaurants that don’t know how to cook calamari properly. Some stir fry noodles that I couldn’t get enough of. A beef and zucchini stir fry that was delicious and spicy, not dumbed down cause Americans don’t like spicy foods. Delicious fish, pretty good batter fried shimp, good green beans and decent pot stickers. When we were finished I told my Aunt and Uncle that when they told me where they were taking me I was scared but I just didn’t say anything. And then I told them how much I enjoyed the food here. I got to hand it too them, the Gourmet Buffet and Grill do a good job !!!

When we want to do a buffet, the Gourmet Buffet is where we go. The food is fresh and a good variety including Italian and American Cuisine. This is the one buffet we can go to and not have any after effects, like indigestion, heartburn or other problems. I recommend them highly.

Decent Sushi selection. We are not ones to hit up Buffets but there were a lot of healthier choices at this joint. But I can never quite understand why they put American Food in Asian Buffets ? Decent enough to want to return and not that expensive either. The Sushi rocked, the steamed Dim Sum, the Black Bean Sauce Mushrooms, the Green Beans, The Steamed Broccoli all quite good. Also tried some odd pieces of fruit for dessert some kind of an orange colored fruit and a white ball that that oddly reminded me of a sweet onion but it was a fruit. Tried a tad of the Veggie Lo Mein too. All quite yummy.

I loved the verity of foods that they had to offer. From lobster to frog legs to 8 different ice cream flavors. The habachi grill lets you choose to have any combination from a bunch of vegetables stir fried together with your vhoice of noodles and 3 different meats. I didnt like my habachi dish but still a great idea. Thier sushi selection isnt impressive either. I love to sample different dishes even when i dine at a more traditional restaurant. Their selection is great and i did find a lot of it very tasty. And all for about $ 16 including tip and drink. Will definetly go back

Something changed. As of 8.27.15, food was disgusting… Everything! The cashier asked me how it was and I said it wasn’t good and she didn’t care, she said nothing to me. It smelled like garbage in there too. I’ll never go back.

Did not meet my expectations at all. Being a NJ transplant I have definitely experienced a variety of buffets. Seeing the reviews had me excited and calling to find out there were snow crab legs had my heart leaping. The appearance is definitely nice and the restaurant is clean(I don’t know about the bathrooms as I did not use it). We arrived at about 920p. Greeted and sat withing seconds. Waitress arrived with our drinks very quickly and we were off to the stations. The hibachi was closing down(disappointing) so, hubby ventured elsewhere. When he returned with his plate we both looked disappointed. As I did my rounds the food supply was kind of low and the selection was not inviting. In my hunt for crab legs I was gravely disappointed to find not only the supply gone, but they were sitting on ICE!!! why serve hot butter with cold crabs?! Fried shrimp were the size of the shrimp you get in your shrimp fired rice(very small)! Dessert, oh boy. Soooo not good. The best thing was the orange sherbet. Rice crispy treats(not enough marshmallows), brownies(not enough chocolate), and mini muffins and some kind of cookie(wasn’t up for experimenting). Sadly disappointed. Off to the next Unilocal locatiom!

It is a great all you can get buffet if you enjoy the food they serve. The food can get cold when it’s not a busy time, but when the food is just cooked/prepared it’s as good as it gets. I came here for lunch and dinner while I stayed at a hotel nearby for Dorney. It is inexpensive and it’s a quiet atmosphere to just enjoy your meal. I would definitely come back again if I’m in the area for Dorney!

This place was absolutely amazing! I went here for dinner on a Saturday after going to Dorney Park with a BIG appetite. My favorite dish they had was the mussels which was made with black bean sauce. They also had very nice snow crab legs! And best of all, they not only have good sea food but also a variety of Asian cuisine. There was kimchi, sushi, Chinese food like lo mein and fried rice and of course, other side dishes… And just a whole lot of other options. The service was also great. The waitress took our plates when we were done in a timely manner and every time I went back to my seat with more food, 99% of the time, my old plate was gone. So nice! And finally, not only was the food delicious and totally worth going there for, but the price was unbeatable! I don’t know if its because I don’t know the normal prices around Allentown since I’m a New Yorker, but the total for dinner on a Saturday for two people came to be about $ 26 and some cents. It was a very pleasant surprise. And it’s totally worth going back there because I just went back for lunch. :)

While there is no such thing as a real«5-star» Chinese buffet, I have to give this one 5 stars in its category. It simply is the best Chinese/American buffet around. Sure, there have been times when something isn’t as fresh as it could be, but all in all, we’re always satisfied with our meal. Plus you can’t beat the price.

Very nice Chinese buffet. There are a few similar places around, but this is the best one. Food and service were both great. We’ve never had to wait more than five minutes for a table, even on the weekend. Only downside is the desserts, which are terrible, tasteless objects that look nice but have no flavor. Besides that, place is great.

I liked the hibachi a lot! Like other reviewers said, for the price $ 12 on Sunday night, with crab legs, this is a pretty good offering. I actually didn’t eat much of the other foods — they looked a bit greasy and variety was slightly lacking, but still quite a few stations. There were a small sushi station. Not a lot of raw fish and the colors looked a bit strange but I didn’t get sick from it! We went around 8:15pm and the sushi were not replenished during the time we were there since they close at 9:30. For the hibachi, there are different sauces that you can choose, along with a variety of proteins(chicken, steak, shrimp, imitation crab meat) and vegetables. There were also rice noodle and regular lo-mein kinda noodle. There was also quite a selection of ice cream but only one scoop… perhaps two would be better? Service was good. Water was topped off and empty plates picked up frequently. Also, when they saw that I was having crab legs, the waitress brought a cracker w/o my asking. So nice. :) they had unique fruits too albeit canned… melons, longans and apricot looking fruit that is NOT apricot, and mandarin oranges. I didn’t explore all the stations b/c all I wanted was stir fried fresh veggies and this was on the way home from Pittsburgh.

I go primarily for the hibachi grille. The buffet is fine, but the hibachi is great. The restaurant is clean and the staff is excellent. It’ s an excellent value for folks on a fixed income.

This place had gotten better since they opened in my opinion. The place is always clean and the food is fresh. The stir fry station is great! Good sushi and kimmchi. The dim sum are fantastic. Give it try for lunch or dinner.

Normally, I’m not a fan of Chinese buffets and have very discerning tastes(I’m Asian so I know Asian food), but this one is actually decent. It’s clean, has a good selection and the food is OK. I like that they have Asian food, but still offer a few other items like pizza. The staff is friendly and there is always parking available.

Reviews I read before our first visit are accurate. I was nervous because my wife was not keen on these Asian buffets in the area after about 10 different experiences over the last 3years. We were taking 2 out of state adult relatives as our guests. Well, she really liked it to her surprise and mine. The sushi was as reviewed. Good variety, very fresh, good tasting and not skimping on ingredients. The fresh raw shellfish were nice and had delicious combinations. Everything was great, clean, efficient, reasonable and delicious. We’re going back soon

The sushi here was incredible! There was so much selection and everything I tried(which was pretty much all the rolls) were great. That being said the actual Chinese food was not that great. Not very much selection and the selection they did had was not that good. To be honest if I really wanted good Chinese food this would not be the place I went but for amazing sushi and a phenomenal price I would come here in a heartbeat!!!
