Mickey is a second generation florist. His father had flower shops in Allentown, Bethlehem, Emmaus and Kutztown. He has worked in this industry for the past 34 years. Mickey attended Kutztown State College for Art. He also spent time in Chicago at American Floral Art School. But most of his experience comes from his on the job training. He has worked at some of the most prestigious floral shops in the Lehigh Valley Over the past 25 years as owner of Michael Thomas Floral Design Studio he has, along with his staff, turned Michael Thomas into a design studio. The determination to use only the freshest flowers and most creative designs has resulted in a widely recognized reputation for quality and beauty. Mickey has been actively involved with The Lehigh Valley Floral Association for many years; as a past president and current board member, he lends his time and talents to the betterment of the industry.
