The Alternative Gallery provides a venue for local artists to display and sell their work in a permanent retail and gallery space. We hold exhibits featuring solo and group shows of both local art and works from outside of the Lehigh Valley.

Our mission is to strengthen the local art community and build stronger relationships with other cities around the world. We establish connections in other areas to bring their art into our community and take our artists into new markets.

Our market is the everyday person as opposed to just the art collector as many galleries cater to. We believe art is inherent to everyone and should therefore be widely accessible. Our gallery is a space aimed at people coming together, experiencing creative works and enjoying themselves.

Continuing efforts include workshops conducted by independent artists sharing their experiences and knowledge with participants. We believe we can enrich the local community through the education, understanding and impact of art.
