Joe’s Genie is family owned and has been serving the Alliance, Ohio area for nearly 30 years. We sell and install the best quality products on the market; Clopay and Haas brand garage doors and Genie brand garage door openers. We also sell several other brand name doors and openers. Our garage doors include many different styles, colors, and sizes for you to choose from.

We are an authorized service dealer for the Genie Company, the leading manufacturer of garage door openers located in Mt. Hope, Ohio. We carry an inventory of parts and accessories to service your garage door and opener at your home, or you can pick-​up parts to do-​it-​yourself.

Our service area includes a four county area: Stark, Portage, Mahoning, and Columbiana in OH.

History

Established in 1984.

Joe’s Genie was started by my grandfather Joe Longobardi in 1984, who had recently retired from The Genie Company located in Alliance, Ohio. In 1993, Joe retired again and turned the business over to me, Shawn Hoyle. I now have 21 years of experience installing and repairing garage doors and openers, and still do most of the work myself.

I like to meet and talk with people. I will even take the time to educate my customers on the maintenance and safety of their own door system. I am very meticulous about my work, taking the time to do things the right way, so your door system will operate as smoothly and safely as possible.
