Holistic Aging is dedicated to caring for the WHOLE person recognizing healing is always possible. Every service offered through Holistic Aging and her Life Care Management Practice Options For Elder Care is based upon this belief which integrates the use of conventional (Western or Allopathic) and complementary (Alternative, Eastern) therapies to prevent and heal, but most importantly promote Optimal Health.

We offer 3 Integrative Services:

1. Restore Health: Licensed Acupuncture, Reiki, Reflexology, Clinical Aromatherapy, Herbalist, Certified Health Coach/​Professional Chef, +more

2. Aging Life Care Management: Our Certified Life Care Managers (licensed as RN’s, LCSW, or OT) are Pittsburgh’s experts in navigating and supporting aging related issues and family concerns.

History

Established in 2002.

The care management division of Holistic Aging, Options For Elder Care, has been assisting the elder and disabled population in Pittsburgh PA and surrounds to age well since 2002.

The Owner Bobbi Kolonay RN MS CCM quickly came to realize the solution to her clients aging well could not be found in modern medicine and sought out alternative therapies which she discovered worked, not only for her older clients, but their adult children and personally. She became certified in many modalities, and even went to China to study Chinese Medicine. In 2015 she opened the doors to Holistic Aging which focuses on healing, wellness and positive aging services– including Acupuncture by a Licensed Acupuncturist, Health Coaching, Clinical Aroma Therapy, Reflexology, Reiki, Food as Medicine Counseling, Herbalist Advice, Foot Detox & more.

With over 30 years of experience in the care management industry, Bobbi is viewed by her peers as a seasoned expert in the management of care with the aging and disabled population. She has presented at numerous national conferences including the Alzheimer’s Association, Aging Life Care Professionals, and American Holistic Nursing Association. Bobbi’s vision is for everyone to be given the opportunity to heal and hopes to accomplish this through services offered at Holistic Aging.
