I’ll start off by saying that I am extremely weary to leave bad reviews. I typically like to give people the benefit of a doubt, and always take into consideration their side of things. With that said, someone has to do a really bad job for me to leave them such a bad review. I encourage you to read this review fully to better understand my disappointment with this company.
I was hesitant to book this company due to such mixed reviews. Some people raved about them, while others hated them. I started to wonder if maybe some of the rave reviews were fake. Well, after much research, that seemed to be the case with almost every moving company, so I decided to give them a shot.
Things initially started great. Elaine was very helpful and persistent during the beginning stages of my move. She was very friendly and eager for my business, until I paid my deposit. The second that I sent them my contract and my deposit, things went downhill.
Manager Manny came to our apartment to give us an estimate. He was very helpful and eager for our business. He gave me his card and told me to call with any questions. I called a number of times, always leaving messages, but never did get a response. I followed up with email after email, but still never got a response. I left messages with the secretary, over and over, but still never got a response. I finally took to doing my business with Elaine, the secretary, who was no longer so eager to help or quite as friendly as in the beginning.
The movers who picked up our stuff were friendly and professional. They had our stuff on the truck in a timely manner, and did a nice job carrying it out. Although, once they left, someone did not do a good job. 75% of our glassware was broken, even though we wrapped each item in very thick bubble wrap, as well as with packing paper. We took extra caution in packing our fragile items, but yet, most of them still came out broken. Even though we had fragile written all over our fragile boxes, they still looked as if they had been to hell and back. The movers who delivered our stuff, though friendly, did an awful job. They were placing large boxes on top of the ones marked fragile, and placed most things upside down. Most of our boxes were dented in, filthy, and damaged. I couldn’t believe how beat up our boxes looked.
On top of that, they didn’t deliver our stuff until three days after the 14 day maximum date that they had given us. I called the company several times for updates and even though they always promised to call me back, they never did. Finally, I got a call from the mover himself, who told me to expect him between 5:00 — 7:00 pm the next day. Well, 3:00 pm rolled around and I received another call telling me he would be here at midnight! I told him that would not work, so he promised to be there at 8:00 the next morning. He didn’t show up until 10:00…
Somewhere during the move, they also somehow lost our ladder. There are obviously worse things that could have been lost, but it was still an expensive ladder. After calling them company, I was told they would look for it and call me by the end of the day with an update. Go figure, I never received a call…
Sick and tired of dealing with this company, I never did call them back. And two weeks later, I still have heard nothing from them. I’ve given up with this company and have decided that they are no longer worth my time or energy.
Who knows, maybe they do a fine job on local moves, but as far as long distance moves go, they are not worth the time or money. I knew it could be a risk, but I am sad to report how disappointed that I am. If you are moving a long distance, please save yourself the trouble and find another company.

These guys have multiple websites and multiple listings on Unilocal and it’s all bogus. I too dealt with Elaine, and as a whole they answered the phone 50% of the time, and at 6pm, which was when they told me they would be there after not showing up at 2pm, they completely shut off their phone. And still didn’t show up.

I was deeply worried about the bad reviews posted here about this company. However, my colleague told me they are good in her local move earlier this year. So I decided to trust someone I know. In short, they are really. They came right on time, work very carefully and efficiently so the overall cost was very reasonable. Everything from my first call to the finish were done professionally. I will definitely hire them again at least for local move.
