Field Corp Realtors

I am a current tenant in a residential building managed by Field Corporation, and am so impressed with the courtesy and responsive of their team from the office staff to the after hours answering service to, most important, the service providers. Routine cleaning and proactive maintenance are excellent too.

After reading the recent «Shadow Campus» series in the Globe I thought it necessary to commend one of the few decent management companies I’ve dealt with in my 6 years (+ 4 apartments) in Boston.
Field Corp was nothing but professional. They were timely in their responses to maintenance requests. The building I lived in was well maintained. They also were very efficient and courteous in their overall processes of move-​in/​move-​out, rent payments, general notifications, etc.
I would love to rent from them again, but they currently don’t rent in the northern part of the city to my knowledge.
By comparison they are outstanding, but in general they are just a good company to work with when it comes to your living situation.

So refreshing to see a large management company with such a high quality of service in Boston! Having lived in buildings with atrocious management (cough…Sabet) I was actually taken aback by how amazing Field is.
I just called for a routine maintenance request, spoke to a friendly woman named Cynthia (instead of an answering machine), she submitted the request, and I immediately got a phone call from the maintenance guy telling me exactly when he’ll be here.
More than that, the apartments in the Strathmore buildings are kept up beautifully. Gorgeous brand new hardwood floors, fresh paint, updated appliances. When I moved in, the place was immaculate. I swear they had to have polished the floors.
I never write Unilocal reviews but I just feel lucky to have found such a diamond in the rough that I needed to share the wealth!
Kudos field corp!

I have lived in two different Field Corp-​managed apartments and have had nothing but good experiences. Maintenance requests have been taken care of within 24 hours. I needed to move into my new place early this year and I was able to pick up my keys promptly at 9am with no issue. The entryways and common areas are always immaculately clean, and in the winter the sidewalks are salted and shoveled promptly. Field Corp is a real hidden gem in the world of Boston landlords!

Field Corp rules! Vicki is a total professional and has been more than fair with my wife and I during our 2+ years as tennets in two different Field Corp apartments. I’m pretty sure they’re more than realtors, I believe they manage these apartments as well.
Another great plus to Field Corp is the maintenance. These folks take great care of both the inside and outside of thier apartment complexes: landscaping, snow plowing and salting, routine indoor stuff as well.
Lastly, and most importantly, both our apartments were and are super quiet with respectable tennents: no loud parties, no slobs, etc.

My best lesson in tenant’s rights has been living in an apartment managed by Field Corp for 2 years. Vicki, the woman who answers the phone as well as being the total queen of Field Corp, rocks and represents all that is right in the world. I got to know her well over the years of clogged drains and broken disposals and she always treated me like an adult, an adult who deserves to live in a house where things work properly. I guess that is the way its always supposed to be? Ahhh… that’s what tenant’s rights are.
24 hour emergency service, day after changing of light bulbs (you may say what… light bulbs? yes! light bulbs! they changed our light bulbs.) and fixing of minor appliances or clogged drains. It was amazing. Fixing our heat was never an issue, nor was clearing snow, cleaning the foyer or taking out the trash! I felt like we were living in a hotel at times. If that isn’t a compliment to a management office, I don’t know what is.

I have lived in an apartment in Brighton managed by Field Corp for two years and it has been awesome. Everything was spotless when I moved in since they go through and clean, paint, and varnish the floors before a new tenant comes in. Any time I have had a problem they are quick to fix it — even on the weekends since they have an operator in place on the weekend to get you help if there is an emergency. The building itself is always clean and there is both a garbage and recycling room.

i’m not sure to what extent they’re a «realty» company, because i got my apartment through a different realtor, so i can’t really comment on that aspect. but i digress…
field corp/​sullivan & co. is my management company. i’ve lived in a building of theirs near washington square in brookline since fall 2002, and they’ve been nothing short of exceptional. at first i thought it was a fluke, because i escaped straight from an utterly shittastic apartment in allston where anything would have been a step up. but lordy, do i love these people.
everything gets fixed. everything. if i call at 10 am to report a problem, they’ve already been in and out by the time i get home from work. the hot water is always hot, and the lone time it broke, it was fixed within 3 hours. the apartments are kept in the best repair, and both the building and its grounds are constantly looked after. apartment walls are painted and hardwood floors are varnished prior to each tenant’s occupancy. we have huge, sunny windows and french doors. we have an amazingly large living room. we have laundry in the basement. i could go on, but here’s the best part: in the 5 years we’ve had our lease, our rent has only gone up a total of $ 50. $ 50! unheard of in brookline, and especially unheard of in this particular area.
if i had to find something wrong with them, it’s the fact that they provide their own trash removal as opposed to the town’s curbside pickup — to save money, i’m sure — but this also means no recycling. and that makes car-​less me feel guilty about not being able to bring my bottles anywhere. but whatevs right? i have a sweet apartment!
i kid, i kid. but seriously, if you’re in need of a great place with some stellar management, i strongly suggest you give vicki in their office a call. she’ll baby you up.
