I read the only other review on this company and she hit the nail on the head, I dealt with Tim too. I went to the Redline location in Waterford, where I live, and I didn’t find a car I liked, but the salesmen told me about a car that sounded perfect at their Almont location, where the owner, Tim, works. The next day my mechanic friend and I drove an hour to Almont to check out the car, and as soon as we pulled it out of the lot the engine was clanging back and forth inside the car due to a broken motor mount. We drove it for about five minutes, and with every turn the motor knocked around inside the body of the car. Once we got back to the dealership my friend pushed on the wheel of the car and was able to move the car with the greatest of ease back and forth with just his foot, indicating that the alignment was off and that the axels were broken. When we approached Tim about this he claimed complete ignorance and that he had no idea that the car was in that bad of shape. Really Tim, you’re going to make us drive an hour for a car that you haven’t even test drove yourself yet?
He was willing to cut $ 500 off of the ticket price to cover the motor mount repair, but this was before we found a slew of other problems with the car, and he refused to go lower telling us that he would, «be out thousands of dollars,» if he went any lower.
I found another car later that day that fit my needs perfectly elsewhere.
I started looking for a car knowing that I hate dealing with car salesmen, but this Tim was the shadiest, most car salesman-​y car salesman I ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
