Graber Dental

I recently started seeing Dr. Graber. I was way, WAY overdue for some fillings, cleaning, exams, etc. I hadn’t really been to the dentist in 5 or 6 years and had two close together pregnancies in the intervening time, so I was very anxious about finally going. Turns out I had no reason to worry!
First of all, the reception staff and hygienists are very professional, warm, personable, and extremely competent. Dr. Graber is not only all of those things but also very efficient. I was amazed at how quickly she did my fillings. The office is neutral, nice, and clean, and not super ostentatious like a lot of overpriced dental clinics in the Portland metro area. They were very good about telling me the cost of any treatment right upfront so there were no unpleasant surprises.

I was a patient at Aloha Family Dental for several years before Dr. Graber bought the practice. I liked the couple who owned the business originally, and I was referred there by a good friend at work originally. Never had a complaint about them, but I wouldn’t send someone I hate to see Dr. Graber. I had a few old fillings that she recommended replacing, then did a very poor job on, so that I had to return to the office for repairs within a few days. I have never had to have work done on a brand new filling before in my life. I certainly have plenty of other things I would rather do with my time than visit a dentist repeatedly.
Dr. Graber also has a habit of recommending work that clearly is not urgent be done, then never mentioning it at future appointments. Stay away is my recommendation. Wish I had left far earlier.

Graber Dental, owned by Michelle Graber DMD, is an excellent dental practice and I recommend them to everyone who needs a dentist in the Beaverton/​Aloha/​Hillsboro area.
I used to be a patient at Aloha Family Dental when Dr. Graber bought the practice. The positive difference was immediate. Dr. Graber brought the technology up to currency, renamed the business and added a personal touch that had been lacking from the previous dentists.
They have also added a professional website and are offering appointment reminders via e-​mail, as well as standard snail mail.
The Hygenists — Sarah, Kristi and Lori — are thorough, personable and make the appointments easy on their patients. I have been going to Sarah a long time and my teeth are in great shape! Jennell, the office admin, is organized and does her job well.
The office is just Northeast of the busy SW 185^th and SW TV Highway intersection in Aloha on SW Alexander Street. The generic exterior looks like several of the others in the complex, but what’s inside is what counts.
