Amana Academy is authorized by the Georgia Department of Education and the Fulton County Schools system. The school is among the most well-regarded charter public schools in the state of Georgia. Amana has grown from 170 students in 2005 to 500 students today. Still, the school is relatively smaller than neighborhood schools and retains a community feel. Amana is incorporated as a non-profit charter school and it is located 30 minutes north of Atlanta in the city of Alpharetta, Georgia and is adjacent to beautiful Wills Park. Amana is SACS accredited and its students consistently score above average on standardized tests.
