Aria Salon – Alpharetta

I went to this salon for about 2 years and I probably won’t be back.
Pros: Online appointments. Love being able to see prices and select my appointment times. They make a good effort for a great customer experience. I love Aveda products and they are an Aveda salon.
Cons: Last time I was in the salon, they put a business card holder right next to the register that stated, «We gladly accept American Express cards.» When I attempted to pay using my American Express card, I was asked, «Do you have another card?» I was then told they did not accept Amex. I pointed to the business card holder that stated, «We gladly accept American Express cards.» They grabbed it and said, «I don’t know how it got out there. It shouldn’t have been put there.»
The first, second, third, fourth, etc… time I visited, I was treated to a short chair massage before or after my haircut. The last 2 times I visited, I was not offered, nor did I receive a chair massage.

I been going there for over 6 years if not more. I love to get my hair done there because atmosphere is always welcoming and staff is very friendly and professional. You can definitely get a quality adorable service there which is a very good thing if you are on budget

Being a first time customer at Cumming location, my experience was great. Aria set me up with Kate. i told her what changes I wanted to make in my hair style. She did a great job and totally gave my hair a new look. much satisfied with the staff, professional and at the same time friendly.

I am a brand new customer and super satisfied. Yail did such a great job on my color and was helpful in choosing the right shade. Denee, nailed the cut even when I wasn’t sure how to communicate what I wanted. (Ps– Ladies, so sorry for the poor spelling of your names here).
I thought it was easy to get an appointment, get started on time, leave on time, and be treated well while I was there.
I do think the «pricey» rating on Unilocal isn’t exactly fair. The price was comparable, maybe even slightly less than what I’ve paid at other salons, especially Aveda salons. I have super long-​thick hair. A cut and all over color (with toner) was $ 118. While a hundred bucks feels like a lot of money, it’s not «pricey» in comparison to other salons. It’s just the normal rate. So, I wouldn’t let that deter you. I had a fantastic experience and I wild definitely come back.

I love Courtney. She does a great job on my color. I am pretty picky and she has met my expectations every time. I am thrilled to have found her.

I have been on a quest for two years to find a hair salon. Just when I thought I had found the perfect place at a salon in Buckhead, my hairdresser turned into a complete flake. Aria is close to my house and I had driven past it a number of times. I decided to give it a try although I was scared to, yet again, try another salon. This salon rivals the trendy Buckhead salons. The difference is that it’s much more affordable. My stylist is excellent and I’ve built a great rapport with her over the last few months. I took my mom here when she was in town so that she could have her eyebrows waxed. She told me that she wishes she lived in Georgia because it was the eyebrow wax she had ever had. If you’re looking for a great salon with prices that are not outrageous, go to Aria!

The only thing I don’t like about Aria is that its a far drive from my house. I drive out there just for the service though. I love the whole staff there, and Maura does an excellent job cutting my hair every single time. She always has funny stories to tell me. It’s like getting your hair done by your BFF.

Maria gives the best haircut — she’s worth the money. I got (truly) the worst haircut of my life on December 23^rd at a new salon in Alpharetta (not Aria) and Maria saved me a few days later. I’ve been going to her ever since.
For color, I’d highly recommend Melissa — she’s wonderful!
The only thing I’d point out is that they advertise a complimentary shoulder/​neck massage with every service but they don’t actually provide it every time unless you ask. Be sure to inquire specifically about that if it’s something you’re looking for.

Mary Jac will rock your hair off.
She’s (usually) patient, has a great disposition, cares about how you look and is sensitive in dealing with how to get you out of bad hair habits.
She’s smart and funny and will keep you laughing in the chair while she makes you B-​E-​A-​utiful.
She’s worth the drive (if one is involved getting so far OTP and your helicopter is broken) and the prices in the salon are reasonable.
