Scam Artists!
We were new to the area and were looking for a good family dentist. We wanted to support our local community and this was very convenient.
I went to them twice. The first time they explained that I needed a crown and pressured me to get it done asap. They also referred me to an orthodontist for my son — who again scammed us to tell us we had to get him into braces right away. Then we got the insurance information and they were charging for all kinds of things — luckily they were dropped. We thought maybe we just had a bad day and went for the 2^nd time. They were nice enough to give us an appointment with all three of us at once which was great we thought (my son, my daughter and I). Once we got there, they rushed us all through Xray’s, then sat us down as though to clean our teeth, but I check with the children and they said they didn’t get their teeth cleaned either, and neither did I yet when we got the insurance we were charged for it. Then I asked them to pull my sons baby tooth which was clearly stuck under the adult canine which was stick out. First one person came in and said he will need to go for oral surgery and then someone else came in and they said, no you don’t have to worry about that it will fall out eventually anyway. lastly, while I was in the chair and while another technician, not hygienist I found out later, was «polishing» my teeth the front office person kept coming in to have me sign authorization for the procedure for all of us each step of the way. I felt very uncomfortable about the entire thing. Now I will have to find a new dentist here. This was a very horrible experience and their bedside manner was equally as bad. It’s too bad!

I visited this place for a teeth cleaning and xrays. I had X-​rays 6 months ago with my regular dentist, and since I have recently moved was looking for another one closer to home. the X-ray’s teeth exam and cleaning are offered at an affordable rate and on Unilocal I noticed great reviews. Unfortunately my visit to crabapple smiles ended up to be a nightmare. Dr Patel told me that I had a huge cavity that would require a root canal and a crown (1500 $) I smelled a rat because 6 months ago I had nothing. Then he told me I needed my gums cleaned and for each ¼ of the mouth it costs 275 $. My dental appointment went from 69 $ to a little over 1300 $ (including extra charges for fluoride and some other thing) I of course refused these things and left my heart in my shoes. My teeth have always been perfect except some gum loss and stabilized periodontal disease which is terrible but I get my gums cleaned 1−2x a year and normally a cleaning every 3 months. I all of the sudden had almost a 3000 $ dentistry nightmare. I
Had the X-​rays sent to my dentist and they said yes the X-​rays show you’ll be in need of a root canal. I flew to meet with my dentist (I have a relative in the airline industry and got a buddy pass) since they are incredible oral surgeons and they will do it at a fraction of the cost. We redid an xray of the tooth and my dentist could hardly see a cavity but a microscopic curvature in the tooth which he was able to repair even without desensitizing the tooth. I have to say that this dentist has tried to scam me freaked me out and i unfortunately lost time and sleep over it. I am fortunate the tooth is ok and the cleaning was professionally done by dr Patel but lying to clients and trying to do unneeded dental work and destroy my teeth for his pocket book are incredibly unethical
Business practices … Beware

I took my very elderly mother to Dr. Patel for a new denture. He was the very most kind and attentive Doctor she has been to in a long while. He listened to her very carefully, and made sure she was extremely happy with the work. His staff even arranged for me to deliver the mold to the manufacturer, so I could get it back to my mother sooner. Dr. Patel even adjusted my mother’s denture several times after it was done, so it would fit her perfectly. I highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone looking for a new Dentist. He is very special indeed!

Awesome experience!!! I have changed so many dentist. Good that I found out about crabapple dental. I really had the best experience with Dr. Patel and Dr. Meghana. Before this I had really bad experience with dentist, I was afraid to go to any dentist but now woo hoo… I am not. Thanks to Ms. Meghana she is amazing and I had painless deep cleaning that is also without any anesthesia injections.
I would recommend to my friends and my family to go to crabapple dental. No one will regret of going there.

Awesome experience, I had let things go and needed a lot of work including 4 teeth removed 4 fillings and a partial. Initially picked him out because he was close to my house, my old dentist had passed away and he could see me quickly. Dr. Patel was great, it was much less painful than expected and I am amazed at how well the partial fit. He actually took the time to get it right. I walked out of there looking 10 years younger and you cannot tell this is a partial by looking at me. His staff is also great, none of those attitudes you usually see. Going back to have some of the dental work I had done in the past redone. I am glad I was one of his first patients at this location since I have a feeling when others discover him appointments will be hard to get.
