Business Owner

Emil Walcek, agency founder and account creative manager previously produced storyboards and commercial art in a creative design firm before moving on to a commercial printer where he managed creative services and pre-​press production. His last employment on the «other side of the client desk» was to develop a newly formed advertising management position at a scientific instrument manufacturer. While there, new lead generating and marketing programs helped tripled sales within his 6 year tenure. Filling a need for more systematic and professional servicing of B to B or industrial marketers, Emil founded EJW Trade PR Service in 1982. Early agency innovations include: a system for targeting news release distribution to business press editors, and adoption of leading edge digital communications technologies that included desktop publishing and the Internet to help achieve cost-​effective marketing goals.
