Damaged my car to up sell me repairs.
History:
My Front tire was wearing badly, Had my car jacked up and was inspecting my suspension. Could not find any thing wrong. went to this shop to have them look at it 2 days later. They said it needed an alignment ($ 85) and new steering rack boots ($ 150). I had them do the alignment, I new my boots were old, but the were still working fine. When I got it home, I jacked it up to have a look at the boots. Both sides were cut about a inch in from the outer end. After replacing them my self, I pulled on them as hard as I could, and I could not get them to tear. they were cut with a sharp object, I could tell by the smooth separation, where the knife went I’m. The alignment was not quite right either the steering wheel pointed a bit to the left when going straight. I’m a photo nut I had taken high resolution pictures of my suspension 2 days before going to the shop. I use these to examine things in fine detail. So I have before and after pictures. Ill post them in my pictures.

These guys are awesome! They care more about finding the problem and fixing it, than having you throw money at your car. They truly care about taking care of the customer. I have a car from 1996 and it needed some pretty serious work. They made sure I had a ride to work and explained everything to me and made sure I understood what was going on. I will ALWAYS bring my car here first.

Eric and his team have helped me with several vehicles (foreign and domestic) with issues ranging from minor tire patches and alignments to more involved mechanical issues with oil pumps and cooling systems. In each circumstance he and his team quickly identified the problem area and made timely repairs. It’s a good feeling to know that we have a neighborhood mechanic that we can count on.

I took my high mileage car to Goodyear with a noisy and leaking power steering pump. I figured it was time for a new one, and was worried about how much it would cost. Eric called to let me know it was just a loose clamp, and fixed it for free. Another time I had a brake pad that was sqealing, and he found that it has a small rock wedged between the pad and rotor. Again, no charge. It is hard to find an honest mechanic that won’t take advantage of you, but I found a good one here.

I give them zero stars. I went in to get my air conditioner filled because it was blowing cold not cool. My 86 year old grandma and relatives were coming down for my graduation and the weather forcast was in the 90’s. I told the owner I didnt want to drive my grandma around in that heat. After about an two hrs they came out and said «We have bad news. You need a new air conditioner system…$ 600». I said «no thank you, I’ll just pay for todays bill». They charged me $ 72 for freon and diagnostics test. Once my family left I had time to take it into the shop and this location checke it it was fine and filled it. Now its blowing freezing air but after my grandma had to rough it out in the 90’s. I went back to Eric Bustle (owner) and told him he didnt even fill my car with freon but he charged me for it. He gave me a refund for that but said I had to come back in two weeks to get a refund for the diagnostic test. I went back in two weeks and collected it too. I would not trust them.
