Johns Creek Ace Hardware

This Ace really does have the «helpful hardware man» on staff. Every time I go in, I am greeted right away by someone asking what I need, and they always have it.
Today I brought in a very scratched up drawer from my kids’ bathroom and asked what quick and easy product I could use on it to make them look presentable, as we are about to put the house on the market and the cabinets were a mess. Richard in the paint department suggested I try «Restore-​A-​Finish» and helped me pick out a terry sponge to apply it.
This stuff is AMAZING!!! It looks like we had the cabinets refinished — they are beautiful! One quick wipe and the scratches and faded parts were gone and the shine was restored. In a couple of hours, I did three bathrooms, several interior doors, our banisters, and some baseboards and I still have about half the can left for future use. I spent a total of about $ 15, and my son said we added at least $ 2,000 to the value of our home. My husband thinks it probably made the difference between someone walking away or making an offer.
Ace is wonderful, and I can’t say enough good things about the «Restore-​A-​Finish» product. Thanks!

My «go to» hardware store. I’ve gotten everything from gardening tools, to paint and stain, to electrical supplies at this store.

This place really shines with service. My wife, daughters and I have been in here about 20 – 30 times collectively and we’ve never had a bad customer service experience. This is the one hardware store I trust my wife and daughters will get taken care of in my absence. They are always helpful finding different things in their medium-​sized hardware store. Checkout is always a breeze.

Price is about average among hardware stores. Probably not as high as some specialty hardware stores, but not as inexpensive as I’ve found on Amazon for some items.

The store has just about everything I’ve needed in a pinch which is pretty amazing (since the store isn’t anywhere near «super Walmart» sized. Sometimes, I won’t think they’ll have something, but a quick conversation with a store employee shows me how wrong I am. I think the only thing they didn’t have were some specialty power tools I was looking for a while ago.

Like I said, this is my «go to» hardware store. I defy you to have a better experience at a big box hardware store. Ace Hardware even has free popcorn!

This is one of those businesses that feels like an extension of home and family as soon as you walk in. It truly epitomizes excellence in sales and service that I strive to teach my employees in my business.
Let me explain. When you walk in, you are immediately greeted with a friendly smile. The items sold are of exceptional quality.
I am big on educating the consumer so they can make an educated decision regarding what they are purchasing. I was in the market for a Grill and had shopped around. The employees at Johns Creek Ace Hardware were very knowledgable on the various types of Grills in the market; they educated me; they took their time and answered all my questions with patience and understanding; and they genuinely cared regarding the service I was receiving. They were not pushy sales people.
I ended purchasing a Weber grill and accessories. It was courteously delivered the next day as promised. Everything they told me about it is true and for the first time in a long time, I grilled a 6-​minute Medium-​Well Ribeye that tasted like it came out of a 5-​star kitchen.
I am very happy with the service and sale and I highly recommend Mark and his employees and John’s Creek ACE Hardware! This is now my goto place for all my hardware needs and more!

LOVE this place. Great selection of merchandise and, unlike the big box home improvement stores, you never have a problem finding someone to help you. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. If you like it cold, they have Yeti and Corkcicle. If you like it hot, they have Big Green Egg. If you like big furry things with paws, take dog treats and you’ll make friends for life. This is my «go to» place for hardware, hand tools and home improvement shopping.

Responded to an ad for this Ace Hardware’s 10 year anniversary in April 2015. The ad presented that for every $ 20 spent $ 5.00 would be discounted from the items identified within the ad. The ad had pictures of Stihl lawn equipment pictured front and lower center of the ad. Excited that I could purchase a $ 150 leaf blower and save money I rushed to the store. Upon arrival I was told that the ad DID NOT APPLY to the any of the STIHL equipment line. The store manager pointed to the back page of the ad where this was stated. Found this very deceptive and told the manager as much. In his defense (and after I would not relent on the deceptive ad), he offered me a $ 10 in store credit. Not all that I hoped for and will not likely go to this Ace store again.

Small store but great customer service. You can always find a staffer who is available and willing to provide assistance. This store actually has more items than you realize and you can always get in and out fairly quickly.

Extremely helpful staff. I showed up after the place had closed but they still helped me out. This is a far cry from the service you get at the big box stores

Copied a Lexus car key for me.
Got to it pretty quick (maybe I was lucky with the timing of my visit).
But it worked perfectly.

Great folks!!! So much better than visiting the big box Home Depot or Lowes. They remember your name and treat you with respect. There is always someone waiting at the door to greet you and ask if they can help you find something! Always very efficient in and out! I highly recommend giving them your business!!!

Love, love, love my local ACE Hardware! Staff greet you at the door and take the time to get to know their customers. If I need anything and it is not in the store Richard and the rest of the staff make every attempt to find the item. It is pleasant going into a store where the staff, and not just owners, enjoy being at their job as opposed to punching in and waiting for their shift to end. At first, I was not keen on the location switch (kept hoping Hachi Hachi would return) but the ACE staff have made excellent use of the space and I don’t need to be worried about crazy drivers running me down as they cut through the old location to avoid the light at Jones Bridge and State Bridge. The store is clean and always has what I need, even when I don’t really need anything.

Have been a shopper at Alpharetta Ace Hardware for about a year now… I love their new location, wider aisles, more goodies to shop for, cleaner and open… all the amazing products from before and MUCH MUCH MORE… did I mention family owned and operated… love supporting the locals… let them help you like they help me with your new house project…

I just LOVE rummaging through a REAL hardware store, even after I’ve found what I originally came for (I think I get this from my Dad). Funny, when I try to «wander» in the mega-​hardware stores, I end up feeling like I just wasted a bunch of time. This is not the biggest Ace I’ve been to, but the level of service is over the top. Hmm, now what did I do with that stainless steel hose clamp?
