Took us(my bff and I) in last minute as walk ins for mani pedis. My best friend got gel nails and regular pedi while I got a regular mani pedi. The girl who did my pedi did a really great job all around — great massage, very attentive when applying the nail polish, etc. The lady doing my nails didn’t do so hot. She tried(pretty darn hard) to upsell me to either a gel mani or a more expensive pedi, and then she did a horrible job on my mani. As in, the second layer of polish didn’t fully cover some nails, spots of the nail were missed, and there was a string of fuzz on one nail that she just painted over(light polish, dark string of fuzz). She then didn’t say anything to me for the rest of the service, just left and went to help another customer. Two stars for the great pedi, but no stars for the horrible mani.

Friendly & professional. Go out of their way to be accommodating. Wonderful family. I trust only Linda for my pedicures. I have had so many problems in past. They are extremely contentious about clean tools and water basins. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I are visiting and popped in to get our nails done this morning. Very friendly, professional ladies! They did an excellent job on both of us. They even painted fancy flowers on my daughter’s nails, which she loves! Very clean shop too, which is very important to me. We will definitely be back on our next visit!

My name is Lynn and I have been coming to Milton nails for over a year. I am a faithful and very loyal customer of Milton nails. It is very clean and ran very professionally by the owners. Every time I am served I am greeted at the door with all smiles and even offered water on every visit. The workers are absolutely wonderful but Linda, Yen, and Tiffany are my personal favorites and you will not be disappointed at all by any one at this location’s service. I highly recommend all pedicures and manicures by Milton nails.

First and last visit here. Pedicure very unsatisfactory. Nail polish smudged badly overnight as, even after 10 hours, it hadn’t hardened properly! Gel manicure was better but after only 6 days started to deteriorate. Would not recommend.

I consider myself to be very picky when it comes to my nails and toes and would have to say that Milton Nails is the only place that I have found to take time and give you the personal care that you deserve I highly recommend Linda and Vivian ! Pedicures are amazing thanks girls !

I have been going here for a couple of years now and I am always pleased with my fill-in. The pedicures are okay and I have in fact, not had one in a while. They have started using cellophane to cover the basin so you aren’t «sharing germs» with those that came before you. Although I make appointments, I frequently have to wait. The massage chairs need to be replaced. It seems they are trying to remodel the place with some paint. My fill-ins however, are stellar. My nails last quite a long while. Overall, just okay.

I have been a customer for more than five years and have found them to be friendly, good at what they do, sanitary, and scrupulously honest. Come In once or twice and you are treated like an old friend. Milton Nails is the best! I also found the accusation below to be utterly unfair… to cast aspersions based upon supposition is not only wrong, but unfairly harmful to a store that in every way tries it’s best. I do not, nor do I believe that the multitude of clients believe that anyone there would be dishonest. Don’t hesitate to try them. It is a wonderful salon.

Decided to try them for the first time. Came in at 5. Has to wait 35 mins to get started. Finally left after over 2 hrs. Noticed that toes were sticky. Went to bed at 1:30 and woke up with sick fibers stuck to my toes! Needless to say never had this happen before. And I won’t be back

My friend and I went to 3 nail salons before we found Milton Nails. She was looking for the organic SNS nail process — no hazardous UV light used. The nail technician took great care to fix my friend’s previous poor nail finish and explain step-by-step what she was doing. She put in a lot of extra time for no extra money to do a beautiful job. Plus we both receive wonderful pedicures, relaxing the whole time receiving auto massages in new chairs. We were still relaxed after lunch. Definitely recommend.

I am a diabetic and so avoided nail salons for years, even though my nails always looked terrible and I longed to have them look as nice as my friends’. Luckily a co-worker, another diabetic, recommended Milton Nails to me. That was in 2008 and I have never had my nails done elsewhere — even though I’ve ventured inside other salons with friends, I wouldn’t even take my shoes off in other places. Milton Nails is above all CLEAN. There is none of the dust and detritus that I’ve seen in other establishments, nor does the air smell of chemicals. They have filter fans that clean the air and I have watched them closely as they clean up after customers with disinfectants and plain old bleach. The floors are clean, polished and free of clutter. Instruments are cleaned, sealed and new packs opened for each customer(though you can also bring your own if you wish). The foot baths are cleaned after each use too, not just rinsed out. My fiancé had never had a pedicure until I took him to Milton Nails and though he was nervous at first, by the time they had finished his pedicure and foot massage that first time he was hooked. He is also diabetic and had a nail fungus problem which his podiatrist had given up trying to remedy years before. Yen, something of a pedicure expert, cleared it up in TWOMONTHS. Seriously, I figured she could lessen the discoloration to some extent, but he has no sign of it at all now. He trusts her implicitly — and for someone who has lost a toe to diabetes, you can imagine how careful he is with his feet. The chairs are oversized and very comfortable and of course do the shiatsu-type massage which you can control as you wish. There’s a huge television in one corner but at an unobtrusive volume level and I just prefer watching the traffic go by outside the plate-glass windows. They have a good array of Essie and OPI polishes as well as the new gel polish in about 18 or so colors, I think. Usually I choose from their polishes but if you bring your own they are always very diligent in making sure you don’t forget to take it home(bad habit of mine). Milton does the usual artificial nails(I have gel nails myself) as well as manicures, pedicures(in regular and deluxe), brow waxing and nail art. Men, women and kids are all welcome. You’re greeted at the door and I’ve never seen anyone come in who doesn’t get a smile. I realize I’m a regular but obviously new customers are greeted with the same courtesy. I always ask for T to do my nails — she is quick, friendly, efficient, lets you just relax if not feeling talkative and does fabulous nail art designs by hand(no stickers or stencils, she does everything with a needle and the end of an orange stick, amazingly detailed stuff). I personally think they are a good value but probably not the least expensive place you could find if price is your sole criterion. Going to Milton Nails is something I choose to do for myself, so along with the artificial nails I have a deluxe pedicure and foot massage, my brows waxed and nail art on two fingers and two toes — in other words, I spend about $ 70 per trip there, but I get the whole shebang. I’m not into Starbucks or shopping at the mall and to me $ 70 a month is an indulgence that lasts and makes me feel better groomed all ’round. You could easily get out of there for much less. For anyone who is tired of dirty nail salons, try Milton Nails out and definitely ask for T if you want creative nail designs!

Update — it seems the original owners/operators have«disappeared» and with them, the impeccable service I received in the past. Some of the same nail technicians are here but inconsistency in price and service will have me searching for a new salon. Sorry girls — but this loyal customer needs to move on.
