Norella Alterations

I drove by this place and stopped by to get pants lengthened. The lady said the alteration would take a week, which I thought was long but whatever. I went back in a week and the pants weren’t done so I had to go back the next day. Unfortunately the pants must have caught something in the shop and got a small hole (they were brand new, tags still on). The employee called Norella, the owner, who told me that they didn’t make the hole and would not refund my money, for the pants or alteration. Long story short, I had a very poor customer service experience and would never go back due to this. The actual sewing was good, but the long wait time and poor service definitely turned me away from returning.

This place did a fantastic job altering my coat, and I’m about as picky as it gets.
I took my favorite waxed cotton coat to Nardella’s to have the sleeves taken up a bit.
I was a nervous wreck as I waited on the alteration to be completed, convinced that the final product would not live up to my picky standards. I was very excited to see that Nordella’s did a fantastic job and there was absolutely no evidence that the jacket had been altered in any way at all.
No question where I go the next time I need alterations.
(It was actually a somewhat tricky job due to the fact the sleeves have internal elastic cotton cuffs and the outer material is waxed cotton, which I hear does not alter as easily as other materials.)
