The business is actually located in Johns Creek. I would not recommend. Within a few blocks radius there are at least two other urgent care facilities. I would steer clear of this one, and try one of the others. I took my daughter there. They accepted the co-pay and billed our insurance but did nothing other than take her blood pressure and poke her stomach and announced it was ‘tender’. We knew it was tender, as she had been cramping excessively. We ended up going to ER. When I asked for a refund and for my insurance not to be billed, I was told that since the doctor looked at her we would have to pay-despite the fact that all he did was take her blood pressure. The lady at the window is very curt and rude. Not at all what you need when you are in need of medical assistance.

I only really go here out of desperation and convenience. with that being said, this past Sunday i was in A LOT of pain, to the point where i had to crawl from my bed to the bathroom because my foot hurt so bad to walk on it. I suffered through it until about 3 o’clock when my husband deemed me not so bright for sitting around in pain all day, i told him it wasn’t bad enough for the ER, but with our Houston trip fast approaching i had to do something. We went to the dr. the front office lady was SUPER nice, the nurse that did my check in was polite as well. the doctor cam in about 5 min later, i explained that i had been here before for the same thing. let him know i was in a whole lot of pain, but didn’t warrant the ER, he looked at my foot where the bone is bulging out the side, said you have been seen here before for this? I said yes, and he pulled my chart, gave me the same meds they did before and said to call in 2 days if it wasn’t better– i felt he was a bit impersonal, but sure enough with the meds i am back up and walking and started to feel relief late last night, so mission accomplished.

Haven’t been there, but called them to ask some general billing questions. I was spoken to with a surly almost hostile tone/attitude. After that experience is unlikely that I’ll go there.

These guys are very fast and convenient and get it done. Quick diagnosis of my sinusitis/bronchitis, got my prescription, got out of there and I was better in 5 days. Nice. One of the nurses was pretty unpleasant last time, but the overall experience was more than satisfactory.

Everything about my experience with Northside Urgent Care was flawless. Next time, I will skip the CVS Minute Clinic and come straight here instead. The physicians are the same ones that work out of Northside Hospital, so you know you are going to get good care. There was no wait on a Saturday afternoon, and I saw Dr. Kiren Dayal. Dr. Dayal was incredibly patient, kind, and thorough, and he completely explained everything he did. He was also great at calming my nerves as he carefully performed the diagnostic tests for strep throat, then mono, and finally tonsillitis(and finally got a positive!). He recommended an injection of antibiotic to jumpstart the drug in my system, and then found a generic oral version to prescribe so I could save a little money. Then, much to my embarrassment, he explained the treatment plan to my mom, who is a Nurse Practitioner. Even she was impressed. When I came back two days later on a Monday morning, there was also no wait, and I was able to see Dr. Dayal again. Because all he did was tell me I was okay to go back to work, he didn’t even charge my insurance for the visit. I will even consider driving up to Johns Creek in the future to visit this practice when I am in need of urgent care.
