Paramount Professional Cleaning Service

We are selling our house and wanted to have a courtesy cleaning done for the buyers after all of our furniture was moved out. After a bad experience with a previous move-​out cleaning (called after the quoted time was up to tell us that they had only cleaned one bathroom so far and needed more time), we wanted to be sure that didn’t happen again. I talked to Camille at Paramount Cleaning, and she assured me that she wouldn’t want anyone springing surprises on her like that, so she would never do that to her customers. We agreed that the cleaning crew would call me after they looked around the house, and we could decide on a length of time and level of cleaning.
The morning of the cleaning, Camille called me at 9 as promised. She told me that the crew looked around and determined it would take 4 hours. I agreed to that length of time, reminding her that (as we’d previously discussed), our buyers were planning to be there at 1 pm, so they needed to be done by then.
My husband and I went by the house around 10 to pick up our last boxes for storage. We were surprised that they had not started cleaning on the main level of the house at all. I went upstairs to talk to the cleaning crew before we left at 10:40. I told them I was concerned that they were spending too much time on baseboards and other details, and that my main priority was that all of the floors needed to be vacuumed and mopped. They assured me that they had a system, and that it would be done at 1 pm.
At 1:10, I got a call from Camille saying that the kitchen hadn’t been cleaned and the floors hadn’t been mopped, and they needed more time. At that point, I didn’t have much of a choice… dirty floors are pretty much the most basic level of cleaning. I explained to Camille why I was unhappy that she was doing exactly what I’d told her I was afraid of having happen. She was unapologetic and insisted that the house was too big and 4 hours just wasn’t enough. She didn’t seem to have an answer for why the crew hadn’t realized that at 10:40 when I told them I was worried.
If you want a detailed level of cleaning and don’t care how long it takes or how much it costs you, maybe this would be a good service to use. Personally, I can’t trust a company whose owner gives me her word that they won’t surprise me at the end, then does exactly that. 2 stars for good cleaning, but I am a very unhappy customer.
