Founded by renowned vocal coach Tricia Grey, MM, Sing Like A Star Studios provides unparalleled training to aspiring and professional singers of every musical genre. SLaS brings world-​class vocal instruction to the greater Atlanta area with in-​person lessons at our two conveniently located studios (SLaS East Cobb 30 068 and SLaS Alpharetta 30 004 – 30 009), and even more convenient vocal training from anywhere in the world with online voice lessons, one-​on-​one virtual lessons that are recorded (video and audio) so you can practice. You can have the world’s best vocal training delivered right to your home, car, office, or hotel.

History

Established in 1985.

Sing Like a Star vocal studios originated in Los Angeles California,

where Tricia Grey, MM taught for over 25 years while performing as a

professional singer and vocal coach. One of her young students won the

first season of Starsearch, and many went on to leading roles on

Broadway, and to recording contracts in LA.

Sing Like a Star relocated to Atlanta in 2000 and now provides two conveniently located studios Alpharetta 30 004 – 30 009) and Marietta (just OTP, Windy Hill exit from I75). Students worldwide as well as in the Atlanta area enjoy the convenience of distance lessons using skype. In 2010, Glee Classes and Group Vocal Technique Classes were added.

Tricia Grey MM, has been featured as the voice coach on MTV’s hit show Made, as well as the new show Before the Fame. In 2011, we partnered with a hit production firm in New York who are actively seeking new talent. Students who are ready will be provided with industry connections!

Tricia Grey, MM, is an exceptionally qualified voice teacher with a Master’s Degree in Music and a lifetime of experience singing, writing songs, and performing as a professional in the competitive music industry. A leading expert nationally in vocal pedagogy and technique (she published a 300 page teacher training manual used by voice teachers throughout the world), Tricia sings and teaches in all vocal styles– Rock, R & B, Gospel, Blues, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Classical.

This vocal method (SLS) is the preferred training for hundreds of Grammy and Tony winners; it is the most sought after vocal technique in the music industry today. It is the vocal technique recommended by the producers of American Idol, The Voice, X– Factor, and Glee, along with many of the music industry’s most respected producers.
