The Original Mattress Factory

Ok, here’s the deal. Overall, their mattresses seem to be comparable to the others out there. The buying experience was pleasant. But, you cannot return or exchange the mattress without considerable cost, so you’d better be darn sure you’re going to like it. Otherwise, buy from someone who will exchange it… there are plenty out there. We bought a mid-​line mattress and when we realized it was too hard, we were given a couple pieces of foam to lay under the mattress pad. Ok, that helped, but it buckles up and we now have big lumps under the pad… looks and feels really cheesy. I would not use them again for this reason.

After getting the full out assault at Mattress Firm, I decided to look at a few other places and the OMF was on my list. Talk about totally opposite experiences — it was like night and day.
Louis is a highly knowledgeable, patient and a down to earth guy. Not really concerned if he can «write it up today». No high/​low price strategy and very straightforward pricing that is easy to follow — and up front with any other associated costs.
When I walked out with my wife, I said that was one of the most pleasurable buying experiences I have ever encountered. If fact, we went into buy one set of queen size bedding and decided to buy two (my daughter was the benefactor of the 2^nd).
We’ve had them about a month and both our holiday guests and our daughter were pleased with their sleep experiences.
Don’t bother going anywhere else (unless you like the abuse).

After having multiple problems with Sears in delivering a mattress, I finally went to The Original Mattress Factory. The experience I had was second to none. Louis was so incredibly pleasant and honest about what I needed and what was going to work best for me. The prices were great, and the mattress was delivered very quickly. I could not be happier with this experience.

We bought a King-​size mattress from this location about 4 years ago and have been very satisfied. We were so happy we later bought two additional mattresses for our two teenage son’s room which are great after 3 years. This is a quality organization and very good with customer service. Their mattresses are padded on both sides so can be flipped and last much longer than typical one-​sided mattresses.

Best. Experience. Ever. Wonderful customer service! My roommate bought a mattress from them two years ago and ever since then I have been wanting the same mattress. His has held up so well and I love the fact that you can still flip these mattresses! (Major bonus!)
Unfortunately, I broke my ankle and have been bed bound for a couple of weeks and still have a few more to go. My mattress was just making this bad experience even worse, so I bit the bullet and called the Original Mattress Factory and asked them to pull up my roommate’s account so I could order the same mattress. This was at 3:00 a Friday afternoon. I explained my predicament & that I couldn’t get to the store. Lewis pulled up his account right away, placed me on hold for just a minute, got back on the phone and said they could have it delivered the next day. By 7:30 AM this morning I was sleeping on my new mattress! I’m not kidding! And for $ 30, they will haul away your old mattress! The delivery was done in less than 15 minutes — I was so impressed!
I know that I have only slept on this mattress for less than one day, but I highly recommend the Original Mattress Factory simply because I believe the quality is outstanding & my roommate has been singing their praises for over 2 years. I also LOVE the fact that they don’t sell anything other than brand new mattresses!

Ed– He is the man to go and talk to about mattresses– he took the time to walk us around the store and talk to us about what we were looking for. showed us options, and did try to hustle or sell us, no pressure although we walked in knowing we were going to purchase a mattress that night. He was personal without being over the top, and we had a really great time talking with him both about the mattresses and small talk while doing the paperwork. He was able to get us on the Saturday truck and then even sent us a thank you card– thats customer service– and I have been sleeping on clouds! the bed is amazing!

Do not buy from them!
Spend a little more money and get a Sealy or Simmons. It is almost a year old and is soft and the coils are not high quality.
