Country Waggin Resort and Groom

This place is great! I love taking my French bulldog here they do a really good job and they have great deals and great customer service. My frenchie is always taking care of. They have a good homely vibe

They are great with our dogs but wish they were a little cleaner. My dogs look amazing every time but sometimes the kids are doing their homework there, which seems a little unprofessional. The last time I was there, she was breast feeding her baby which is also unprofessional but I keep coming because the dogs look great and seem to be treated well. If you can ignore some of the items I described above, then this place is for you. I just turn my head and ignore those things because my dogs are treated well and look great.

We go here to board our dog. Prior to having our dog boarded here, we were looking around for a good place to leave our dog whenever the need arises. When we checked this place out, I was surprised as to how clean the kennels were. It doesn’t smell like dogs or pets at all. I met both owners, on several separate occasions, and you can tell that they know what they are doing and that they do take care of the dogs.

Grooming:
My dog is 7 years old. This is the best my dog has looked. I am very pleased. They met my expectations. I asked them to please keep her hair as long as possible. She looked like a cute cuddly bear when I picked her up. Fur was soft to touch and smelled AMAZING!
Location:
On Baseline ave. It’s great for me. I just moved to the Rancho Cucamonga area so it’s less than 2 miles from my house. I used to live in Rialto. I wanted to find a more local groomer.
Place:
Place is ok. Can’t see beyond the closed doors. Can hear dogs barking but totally normal since they are in crates.
Staff:
Super nice. The girl evaluated my dog since it was our first time there. She made some recommendations. Very nice. My dog appeared very comfortable while staff was holding her. My dog also appeared very content when I picked her up, she was not scared or traumatized which tells me they handled her gently and nicely during the grooming.
Pricing :
I paid 10 $ (plus tip) extra here than I did at the place in Rialto I was taking my dog to prior to me moving cities. I’m ok with that. My dog looks lovely.

We are new dog owners, adopted a beagle and I looked high and low for a groomer. We decided to try Country Waggin based on a friends recommendation and we’re very happy. We ended up joining the monthly membership and I’m glad we did. With us having to go out of town for the holidays, we have to board Jack a few times in the next couple weeks. Last week we boarded him and I was a little nervous and sad leaving our pup, but the owner made me feel so comfortable about it. She let me go back and look at the kennels, everything was spotless! Needless to say we will be boarding Jack two more times in the next few weeks and I am so relived to know that my baby will be taken such good care of. Oh and the grooming is awesome, get the membership! Thank you Country Waggin!

Love this place. We have been coming here every 6 weeks or so for a year. Our dogs love it. Priced well for the job they do. I have two Saint Bernards and one of them is quite large and they handle him very well. Awesome job! :)

I have been taking my three dogs here for years for both boarding and grooming and have had no issues. The staff is always friendly and helpful. When I pick up my dogs after boarding they are clean and not stressed out at all. My dogs have special dietary needs which they have always addressed and I also take my dogs here routinely for grooming. Their prices are comparable to other dog boarding and grooming facilities and this is close to where I work so it’s very convenient for me. I recommend them.

Boarded my two dogs for three days the middle of August 2014. It was our first time there and I did inspect a week prior to their boarding. Everything seemed fine. When I dropped my dogs off it didn’t register at the time but the kennel next to my dogs was covered up completely. I peeked in and the owner Denise said she took in a rescue who just had a puppy. Six days later after boarding our Boxer got a case of kennel cough. We have never had a dog with kennel cough. A trip to the vet and a couple of hundred dollars later. Our vet was horrified a boarding facility would take In rescues and keep them with healthy boarded dogs. Our other dog so far has not been affected.
We are positive our dog got kennel cough from Country Waggin. I spoke to Denise who was very rude and said her boarding contract states your dog may get sick and it is not her responsibility. You would think she would have common sense not to mix rescues with her boarding clients. Reported this to the city and the BBB. Do not take your animals there. Even grooming your pet there is a risk.

Bad experience… Been taking my toy poodle for 4 years now, but it’s time for me to write this and move on. The last straw was I was charged for a full day’s fee (saw no posting as far as pick up time if you don’t have an exit bath). This time I decided not to have an exit bath as it was only for two nights. So, as in the past, I picked up my dog at around 1 pm (my usual arrival time in Alta Loma when driving home from Vegas as he’s kenneled there when I make my Vegas trips). But because I arrived at 1:07 pm I was charged for an entire day! (I know of people hotels that charge you a ½ charge if you’re not spending another night!!)
To say the least I was hesitant of taking my dog back to them on this trip, as last October my dog (although immunized, did contract kennel cough) and my Vet was very concerned of the kennel after hearing that my dog caught it at the boarding kennel. Country Waggin is in a convenient location for me so decided to try them once more… Mistake No. 1! Before making reservations, though, for this last trip, I did call the kennel and asked them if they’ve had any kennel cough recently. The answer was «No, it was a long time ago.» I also asked for the cost for my toy poodle and lady said $ 20 & $ 25 per day. I asked why the price difference, she said $ 25 for holidays. So I thought to myself I’m fine at $ 20 a day as it’s not a holiday.
I thought my October 2013 incident was a one time deal. But when I arrived to drop of my dog on reservation day, I see a note on counter that they had a kennel cough incident in May 2014… only 3 months ago, again! I was upset after reading that, but it was too late to start searching for another kennel on that day.
Word of caution to you Unilocalers if you’re going to use them. The owner was adamant… her answers to my questions were: 1) you didn’t have an exit bath so we charge you for another day, if dog is picked up after noon. 2) Disclosure you signed – I signed mine around 4 years ago when I first kenneled him – states that kennel cough can be contacted there as it’s in an enclosed environment… and it’s something Country Waggin’ cannot control.
Also before kenneling your pet, be sure you have time to read all notes pasted on counter… and also addendums to posted notes. One sheet shows old pricing which I pointed out… but owner pointed out an addendum that updates the old price!

This was the first time I used Country Waggin or any type of dog boarding facility and I was very pleased with them. My family had just moved and we didn’t have the friends and neighbors who could normally take care of the dogs for us so I had to look into boarding facilities. I needed to board my two dogs for a week and this was the first time they would ever be staying at a kennel so I was worried that they would feel abandoned, confused or stressed. I didn’t know what to expect with boarding my dogs so all I could do was stress out! I searched around for different boarding kennels and finally called Country Waggin They were very friendly on the phone and said I could come in to check out the facility. I was very happy that they allowed two or more dogs per run and the price was very reasonable as well. They assured me that the dogs would be fine.
When I got back from my trip I went to pick them up and they looked happy, clean and not stressed out. Yay! The staff told me that they did very well for first-​timers and that was so good to hear. I had even asked if they could do a few things for my dogs during their stay and Country Waggin was very accommodating. I was expecting to be charged for every little thing since that was what every other kennel I had checked out did. We had spent a fortune on a vet bill the day before we left for our trip due to a problem that came up with one of the dogs, so it was a relief when Country Waggin was so accommodating. I truly appreciate all that they did!
The staff was friendly and helpful which helped me feel confident in Country Waggin and I will be looking to them in the future when I need to board my dogs. Thank you!

I have been going to Country Waggin for four years. My four small poodles get so excited in the car when they know they are going for their weekly baths. The VIP service saves me so much money since I have 4 dogs and I like the clean weekly. They are professional, very nice and always provide a service with a smile.
I have used their boarding services also. My poodle Sally has a lot of anxiety but does so well overnight at their place. I would recommend Country Waggin to anyone who loves their puppies and wants great service for them.

Just picked up my 3 dogs from here n they were happy shiny and smelling good. It was my first time bringing them here and they were so nice and happy. The price is good and they were done in a good amount of time. I will now be bringing my fur babies here for all our grooming needs :)

I wrote a review of CW as a long time customer. I was completely honest and objective and yet you chose to filter my review. I do not understand this and I find it rather offensive.
Do you not want clarity and honesty in a review by a customer of many years?
CW is a wonderful, nurturing,. loving facility run by exceptional people. Trust me, I should know because I have been to many places that were dirty, smelled of urine and indifferent staff. Not so, CW as we are most fortunate to have them in our area.
I certainly hope you remove my previous review from your filter and place it where it belongs. Thank you.

We have been coming the Country Waggin for over a year now. It is a little farther drive from our house than a few other grooming salons and boarding, but we keep coming back because of the great service, the care our doggie receives, and the results we see when we pick up our doggie.
We signed up for the VIP club, which on a monthly basis is cheaper than 1 grooming at a nearby retail store whose name will not be mentioned (I also like the results at the other place, but it is way more expensive). The VIP club is great… we have our doggie bathed 2 – 3 times a month at a minimum, and besides being less expensive, it also allows the staff to know my doggie.
We have taken advantage of boarding at Country Waggin as well, and have also had a great experience. With the VIP membership we receive a 20% discount on already affordable prices.
I would recommend Country Waggin because my doggie is always treated well (and smells good too when she comes home!)

I understand your need to protect your livelihood, however nothing that I posted was untrue. Your claim that I left my dog out in my yard all night is ridiculous, especially when you consider that I live in a CONDO! Looking at your reviews, I am not the only dissatisfied customer. You lost not only my business, but that of my friends and anyone that I have the opportunity to warn about your treatment of my otherwise spoiled and very loved pup.

This place is absolutely filthy. I would not take a dead dog here! If you take your pet here it will probably end up being very sick, so make sure your pet is up on all it’s vaccinations. Staff are incredibly rude to boot!

I took my dog for the first time there Saturday since my neighbor took their dogs for the first time there last Saturday. The place is kind of expensive at $ 40.00 for full grooming, I was paying $ 30.00 for the same work in a groomer’s in Upland. I don’t mind paying $ 40.00 but the customer service there was really mediocre. They were not very friendly and one Hispanic or Black lady working there could not even say the word «hi or hello», she just stared at you like she was not happy working there. Businesses needs to totally understand that if you want customers to come back to your establishment, you need to be friendly and courteous, part of good customer service. I don’t give a hoot if you have ten children at home while you are at work. When you are at work, you are at work. The lady in the counter was instead talking to be about how she just had laser surgery in which she paid with ITEX check like what made her thought that I was interested in her personal business.
Another thing that I did not understand about Country Waggin Resort and Groom was that they asked me to make an appointment which I did. The appointment was for 1000 AM and when I dropped off my dogs I asked what time were my dogs going to be ready, they told me in 4 hours. Who does that? Are they not obligated to tell the customer in advance that you would need to leave your dog for 4 hours instead of assuming that the customer has all the time in world to wait for your dog or pet, what if I did have 4 hours. In addition, I am glad that I called after 4 hrs before I drove over there to pick my dog because my dog was not ready. 4 hrs after I left my dogs, she still was not ready. What is the point of making an appointment at 1000 AM if it is going to take more than 4 hours to finished my dog., I don’t get it. At the end, I gave Country Waggin ⁵¹⁄₂ hours to groom my dogs and When I went to pick my dogs after ⁵¹⁄₂ hours, one out of the two dogs that I dropped off at 1000 am still was not ready.
In conclusion, I have not made up my mind if I will go back to Country Waggin or not. I guess I should ask around if anyone else feel the same way I do or I am making much ado about nothing.

the dog looked awesome when we picked him up. he also smelled great and continued to smell great for several days (this is a stinky dog that due to skin issues smells stanky a few hours after a bath). His nails were clipped, his ears plucked, and his booty hairs shorn. couldn’t have asked for better, did i also mention it’s cheaper than the franchised pet stores and don’t require proof of all his shots unless he’s being boarded? petsmart made us drive all the way back home to get shots paperwork for a nail clipping, even though we’d previously gotten his nails and grooming done there. hmmph! great service at country waggin has made them my official dog groomers. located at the back of a business park so don’t go looking for a shopping plaza.

I really like this place and the people who work there. They’re friendly and honest.
I have a cat that’s so fluffy she really needs to be shaved regularly… believe it or not, if she could speak like we do, she’d say she agrees! Her moods improve 10 times after she gets shaved and then when her fur grows back, she becomes moody again. The only issue with her is when she’s moody, she’s very hissy and people have said the sound of her hiss scares them away (I’m deaf so I can’t really tell).
After trying 2 other pet grooming places who refused to do my cat because of her hissy fits, my dad suggested this one even though it’s out of the way for us. He said if anyone can handle my cat’s hissy fits and brattitude, it’d be Ebony. He said she even told him that she’ll just hiss back at our cat whenever she hisses ha!
The first time we went there, we were contacted right away (argh!) saying we have to pick her up because she went into «full attack mode». When we got there, they felt bad for not being able to shave the cat’s fur but they offered some ideas for us like maybe getting relaxing pills for the cat and have me stay with her throughout the session. They were more than happy to reschedule and try again.
We got the pills (I know, it sounds awful but it really did help!) and gave her one the day of her appointment… I brought her favorite brush with me and I sat right in front of her while Ebony went to work on her. Our cat was very relaxed from the pill plus she LOVES the brush that I brought with us, so it helped… in the end Ebony was able to get all of the cat’s fur off without any problems! FINALLY!
This is the first grooming place that I felt really cared enough to figure out solutions to help us and they were very patient and positive, which I appreciated. I also got a taste of what it’s like in their groomer’s station area and they are great at what they do… I respect them for all they do with the pets there! The dogs I’ve seen there seem very comfortable… that’s how you can tell it’s worth taking your pets there.
I’m definitely going back because I’ve never seen our cat as happy as she was after she got her fur shaved off… she looked amazing and she acted like a new cat! She didn’t hiss anymore after that… not until lately, because her fur has grown back again and she seems grouchy about it ha. That’s going to change again once we go there next week! :)

I take my dog Buddy (Shih Tzu) to Denise and crew. We are always happy with the results. We have used grooming and boarding services. We signed up for VIP service and it is well worth the price. I have also recommended Country Waggin to friends.
