This store has an amazing selection of everything alcohol related. The staff is wonderfully helpful and extremely knowledgeable. They help me with any questions I may have, especially when it has to do with wine. I am no wine expert, I choose by how pretty the label is. They listen to my needs and make great recommendations accordingly. Always a home run, every time.

NOt as big as total wine and spirits. BUt adequately equipped for all your liver destroying needs. Stopped in yesterday. Forget about parking. They had some wine tasting thing going on. So thats a bonus for the wine drinkers out there, since they do this often. Just never actually been to one. Yesterday was a accident. I;ll stick to my custom cocktails. The staff here is always able to answer any questions. Oh and for those that do like to try wine from time to time. I like the rating system they have. 1 – 10 for sweetness. Total wine doesnt do this. and if you dont know what your looking for. Forget about it. Here at ABC you can scan the wine for what your looking for. See a couple bottles rated a 6 or a 7. you know its a little on the sweet side. Grab a couple and try them. If your looking for dry then you know to stay away from these. Even though it was packed yesterday we were still quickly helped when we couldnt find what we were looking for. And we didnt even have to ask. He came right over to us. Apparently what we were looking for is behind the counter now. And even on the way over to the counter we were asked if we found everything okay. So good selection, and great customer service even when busy. 5 stars.

Writing this review based on craft beer for the store. I know there is so much more regarding wine and spirits, but my main purpose is the beer. For this location, it has a decent selection, and typically there is a person there that knows enough to answer your questions. When compared to Lake Mary, it falls short. This could all change, as it seems they are growing in the area of beer. I’d be super stoked if they were to put in a growler station, like Lake Mary has. All in all, a good place to stop in.

Located west of I-4 off 436/Semoran just south/east of the junction of 434 and 436 in Altamonte Springs. Up to 5 stars now, this ABC location is great. The layout is easy to get around with a cart(um, buy much Lisa?!) and everything is marked well. I’m always greeted by friendly staff offering to help find something or haul my stuff to the car. This location is always well stocked with seasonal items and a nice selection of craft beers, the prices are great. On the craft beers, if you buy a mixed 6 pack, you get 15% off.(pic) Nice way to try some new beers. Extra offers and discounts if you are an ABC card member, including some nice coupons at check out. I was at this location a lot over the holidays, as we entertained a bit or we were enjoying seasonal cheer at friends and it’s always nice to bring something. Each visit I left with exactly what I had come for and had a nice shopping experience. But, wait, look over there in the back of the store in the alcove under the«Wines of Distinction» header.(pic) It’s a pneumatic wine tasting station(pic), with a friendly ABC staff member beckoning you to sample some of the 4 – 8 wines featured. This complementary service offered to highlight some of their various featured wines. On this visit there was an equal mix of red and white and some other customers being guided through the wines. As the nice staff member said to me, «We’d just like you to try some different wines to see if you discover anything new to enjoy». Excellent. Sadly, I was running a quick errand during office hours, so I couldn’t enjoy their festive wine offerings. But I’ll be back during non work hours to sample some wines, for sure.

This is a bigger ABC than the one near my house in Winter Park, and I was amazed by their selection! When I went there recently, they had a couple of rare beers that I couldn’t find at the other wine & beer store downtown(they had already sold out). They have coolers of some pretty decent beers as well, so if you need a good chilled beer, you can typically find one here. I was a bit disappointed with the staff’s lack of knowledge about the products. I realize that it’s difficult to train everyone on rare products, especially seasonals, but it makes the shopping experience pretty frustrating. However, there’s always at least one person who understands the beer snobbery. All in all, this place is A-OK. Maybe 3.5 stars?
