As a family being in the business for a few years now, we have been wanting to open a small location that reflected our personalities and communicate what we love the most about Italy and its gourmet dishes.
We are doing so by providing our friends and customers with best service and products.
Fire pizza oven from Italy, as well as the pizza maker.
Organic products supplied from nearby farms (when season allows us) transforming them into a traditional dish that we are positive won’t disappoint.
Everything we do is homemade, from the pizza dough to ravioli.
Also, we specialize in importing the bets cheese from Italy to improve your experience. That’s why the name «Mozzarella bar».

History
Established in 2015.
We opened our first location here in Altamonte Springs on November 30th
Our pizza maker has been working with the original pizza Napoletana for years, learning from his family that has been in the business for 3 generations.
Pizza cooks in less than 1 minute.
Our chef has past experience from different restaurant in Rome, and has worked side by side with the Michelin starred chef Adriano Baldassarre, currently working in a 5 star restaurant in China.
Mozzarella bar has been chosen with the goal of helping our friends and customers discover the exquisiteness of the numerous Italian cheeses that makes Italy famous throughout the world.
Providing the best possible finished dish using organic seasonal products is our target.
Our dining atmosphere will sure bring you back to Italy and we guarantee you wont leave disappointed.

Meet the Business Owner
Piergiorgio Q.
Business Owner
Piergiorgio is the owner of the Antica Pizzeria and mozzarella bar. Prevoiusly started as a bus boy, worked in all the areas of the restaurant business, from dish washer to cook.
After 2 years of owning a previous business in the US, decided to call fro help in the kitchen his mother Ida, who was working in a fine dining restaurant in Rome and his long time cousin/friend and pizza maker Pierpaolo to make sure the quality of food would excel.
To top that, he remodeled completely the location to adapt the dining experience to a more friendly but yet casual looking restaurant to fit all the occasions and make everyone feel like family.
The goal that he has set himself to is to bring to expand people’s knowledge about Italy and Italian food and in order to do so he’s there every night enjoying the people who are eager to listen on how certain dishes are made or maybe hear stories about Italy.
