History

Established in 2004.

Dr. Albert was born and raised in Longwood, Florida and is a graduate of Lyman High School. Dr. Albert returned to Central Florida in July of 2004 to start his own practice in Colon and Rectal Surgery.

Dr. Albert received his medical education from Tufts University School of Medicine in May 1998 in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his internship and residency training in general surgery at Tufts-​New England Medical Center in June of 2003. The following year, Dr. Albert successfully completed his Fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at the world-​renowned University of Texas, Houston. Dr. Albert is board certified in general surgery and colon and rectal surgery.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons. (ASCRS), and Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS)

Dr Albert serves as the Assistant Program Director of the ACGME accredited Florida Hospital Colon & Rectal Surgery Fellowship.
