The mini golf was cute. The soft serve ice cream tasted very watered down. I love soft serve– but not here!

My family used to come here all the time when I was a kid, and I always enjoyed putting thru the windmills, over the jumps, etc. I went back this summer for the first time in years, and it’s totally different — the course has been completely redesigned, and it’s a lot more of reading the greens and playing the angles. I’ve never been good at golf, either miniature or real, and my time away hasn’t helped. Nor did my first experience kindle any interest in ever playing again. After 9 holes(granted, I was in a fivesome of equally inept players), I was exhausted, and couldn’t wait to get off the course. All that being said, the course is clearly brand-new, with new carpets, and fantastically maintained and impeccably clean. It was just too hard for me, and not as much fun as I remembered when it had windmills and loops and ramps. But if you can read a green, and actually put well, then you’ll probably enjoy it.
