Pork & Plants is a family owned greenhouse & farm located on the hills overlooking Whitewater Valley. We are known for the high quality, unique bedding plants, veggies, perennials, Fall mums & poinsettias that we grow on-​site. Purchase plants, as well as Red Wattle pork, chickens, eggs, turkeys, ducks & American Milking Devon grass-​fed beef raised onsite April-​Christmas. See our website for seasonal hours.

History

Established in 1985.

Originally a hog farm, Mom’s hobby of growing plants in the 70’s became a family greenhouse business because of word of mouth throughout the Winona/​Rochester area. More than 30 years later, our family still grows all our plants sustainably in our greenhouse, as well as raising heritage Red Wattle hogs, chickens, turkeys, ducks & American Milking Devon cattle with organic feed & open pastures on our certified organic farm.

My brother and I grew up on the farm and in the greenhouse, learning alongside our parents. Now we take joy in teaching the 3^rd generation the passion we find in helping customers and working with nature.
