History

Established in 2005.

Battery Joe was born in Lubbock in 2005 in response to a great need for people to be able to buy hard to find batteries for all their electronic devices. Since then Battery Joe has expanded to 3 stores in Lubbock and 2 in Amarillo. Battery Joe has been greatly blessed to serve the battery needs of these two fantastic communities.

Business Owner

Grant Gafford serves as President and Co-​Founder of Battery Joe, which was founded in 2005 by him and his family. Grant currently has 14 years of experience in retail and customer service, more than 10 years of experience in sales and management, and 8 years of specialized experience in the battery industry through his involvement as President of Battery Joe.

Grant is a lifetime resident of Lubbock, TX. Following his graduation from Monterey High School, he studied Business while he attended Texas Tech University. Grant’s specialties are sales, real estate acquisition and development, purchasing and contract negotiation.
