Praeclarus Press is a publishing company owned by Kathleen Kendall-​Tackett, Ph.D., IBCLC, FAPA. Our Mission is to publish books that change people’s lives. We want our books to be engaging, grabbing the reader’s attention, and beautiful, to nourish their spirits. Smart, but still accessible and practical. Compassionate, while reflecting a solid base in evidence. In short, we want them to be excellent.

History

Established in 2011.

Like many small enterprises, Praeclarus Press began with an idea that was shared with colleagues over a cup of tea. We gathered in the café at the British Library, in the center of London, to discuss the logistics of putting together a small press that focused on women’s health.
