Karen Spire, executive chef and owner, creates a close, personal relationship with each client, ensuring that every detail is perfect for your special occasion. Karen Spire Catering is comprised of an intimate, dedicated staff of professionals who will work closely with you at every stage of planning and on the day of your event.

Business Owner

Karen Spire has over 30 years of restaurant experience. After graduating from The Restaurant School of Philadelphia, Karen was offered an apprenticeship and later a permanent position with the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia. During the following years, she enhanced her skills by working closely with restauranteur, Kevin Meeker, at Philadelphia Fish and Company in Old City, Philadelphia.
