History

Established in 2006.

The house that is today 5 Corners Bed & Breakfast was built around 1880 by the Braun family. Since its origination, the house has served as a church, beauty shop and even a brewery. The house overlooks the Old Spring, an Amherst landmark, which once served the community with fresh drinking water. The house is located in Amherst’s original downtown; from the front porch you can see the original General Store and Blacksmith’s.
