We practice general and family dentistry in a friendly office atmosphere. Our practice strives to meet the needs of our patients and treat all patients in a manner which makes them comfortable referring their family and friends to our practice. We utilize digital x-​rays and the most predictable procedures and restorative materials known in dentistry.

History

Established in 1972.

Dr. C. Douglas Kayser started our practice in Amherst, NH in 1972. Dr. Stephen J. Clark joined Dr. Kayser in 1978. Dr. Matthew C. Leighton joined them in 1998. Dr. Kayser passed away in 2004 shortly after retiring from clinical practice. Together we strive to offer our patients high quality dentistry in a friendly office setting focusing on individual patient needs to establish oral health, both predictably and aesthetically.

Dr. Leighton graduated with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1989. Dr. Leighton graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1994 and completed a one year General Practice Residency at St. Clairs Hospital in Schenectady, NY. Dr. Leighton attends continuing education each year focused in the areas of treating patients in need of Dental Implants, TemporoMandibular Dysfunction and Comprehensive Restorative Dentistry.
