YUM! Stumbled upon this place while grabbing a tea at Amherst Coffee and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a gazillion times better than the froyo place in South Hadley. I got the plain and it actually tasted like yogurt– imagine that? I’m an exclusive plain Fage yogurt girl and it reminded me of that to a T. The fruit and toppings options looked healthy and the store was extremely clean. Because it’s so close to my office, I actually thought about going back for a second serving.

Fresh tasting, good variety, awesome flavors (Maple?!) and relatively inexpensive. Im glad I found them, I hold froyo shops up to the Pinkberry standard and GoBerry was right up there in quality. Very cool little shop, can’t wait to return!

Goberry deserves every prong on those five stars. What could possibly be better than fresh, local, sustainable ingredients and varying, seasonal, expert, and unique flavors and toppings that support local businesses as well? I’ve probably spent hundreds of dollars at Goberry and never (ever) regretted spending a dime. Instead, I always feel utterly satisfied and happy that products like Goberry froyo exist.
There needs to be frozen yogurt places like Goberry all over the world, because frozen yogurt from places like Froyo World et al. is often syrupy, low quality, over processed, melts super easily (because it’s mostly just frozen water), made from old/​rotten ingredients, and is unnatural. Other frozen yogurt places often offer toppings that are just the decent-​looking stubs of moldy strawberries (source: Froyo World employee), have poor customer service, devalue their employees, and take away from the charm and sustainability of local businesses with green values. You know a frozen yogurt place isn’t proud of their product when they spend more money on sensational décor, they focus on the quantity of ingredients rather than the quality of a few choice ingredients, and distract customers with lights and loud music like a Hollister or Abercrombie store, just waiting for you to surrender and go to the register, guaranteeing you won’t dare go back into that jungle again to return an item or complain. Goberry, not the other guys, is the one frozen yogurt place that wants you to be satisfied and return for more local greatness in a cup.
The frozen yogurt from Goberry is never questionable, always fresh and delicious, somehow rich and satisfying but not heavy and regrettable after-​the-​fact, and comes with a satisfied and proud employee’s smile.

Smooth, silky, rich, splendid. These are all words that come to mind when I think of goberry and all the happiness it has injected into my life. Long live high quality froyo. Long love happiness. Long live goberry.

They use local ingredients and is really fresh and yummy!
The froyo here is the thickest and creamist, and has a fresh flavor :) Although there are usually only 3 – 4 flavors at a time, but the froyo doesn’t melt easily as Froyoworld’s froyo (down the street) who has more flavors, but lacks quality. See flavor update by checking their Facebook page!
My favorite is forever the original flavor — reminds me of homemade Vietnamese/​asian yogurt :)
Pricey, but quality is worth it :)

This is my absolute favorite frozen yogurt place on the face of the planet! So good, just incredibly incredibly good. The staff is so nice, they always have interesting flavors, and also the classics! So worth it to come here, just absolutely worth it. The decorations are beautiful, they have a discount system, they have really great toppings, and free sauces, and the people are always really nice. Plus, it’s right next to the Amherst Theatre, and the library, so a totally great option for a study break or an after movie snack!

One of my favorite yogurt spots aside from pink berry. This is the place to go if you enjoy tarty frozen yogurt with a creamy texture. I love how simple this place is, don’t expect a bajillion topping but expect quality. Yes, it’s definitely more than other froyo places, but well worth it. And I like how they rotate flavors, it gives you a chance to try everything and worst case you can stick with original — which really isn’t the worst case when you’re at goberry.

The best frozen yogurt in the Pioneer Valley. I prefer this location to Northampton since it is usually quieter. The yogurt is tart, rich and is made from milk that does not contain tomatotropin. Excellent assortment of toppings.

Very Solid frozen yogurt joint. I would recommend others give it a try.

GoBerry is definitely my go-​to dessert place in Amherst.
THIS is what fro-​yo is supposed to taste like. It’s mildly tart, creamy and thick. Though by big city standards, GB is fairly average and a little overpriced, but I think it’s worth it to support a local business. There’s the standard selection of fruit and granola toppings. Getting ripe mangoes mixed into my froyo was fantastic.
GB’s Amherst location is a hole in the wall with no indoor seating, which is kind of a bummer. It can be twice as expensive as froyoworld if you go crazy with the toppings (which are limited in number, unlike FW), but I find that GB is more filling and of much better quality than any other joint in town.

I love GoBerry. I used to be a fan of ice cream, it was my «go to» food as a dessert or snack. But since I tried GoBerry last Spring, I can’t get enough of this.
It tastes just like greek yogurt, except that it’s frozen. It’s smooth, creamy and tart; flavors balance each other well. Their raspberry frozen yogurt is really good too. I’m not necessarily a fan of other flavors, but probably because I love the original one so much. They allow you to try a sample of their flavors before choosing, so there really isn’t any reason to be disappointed in your flavor choice since you can try before you buy.
This is the place I go to now when I want to go out for a treat. The staff is really nice, I love that the spoons are compostable, and the toppings are really fresh. Portions are good too.

Absolutely, the best frozen yogurt I have ever tasted.
This is the freshest, most dairiest, most yogurtest fro-​yo you will ever have.
It actually tastes like yogurt… yet it’s frozen.
Great texture. Great flavors. Dairy with no antibiotics or hormones.
There’s another one in Northampton… and no where else.

Be spare with the toppings, you’ll really want to taste this frozen yogurt.

Had their cocoa frozen yogurt today. shouldve known better. Have you had sour chocolate? This would be how i imagine it to be. How can they think to serve that? Had to throw it out.

The service was okay, not particularly memorable, but the yogurt was bland and a huge disappointment. I have extensive experience working in the frozen yogurt industry and this was the worst yogurt I have ever tried. The three flavors offered all tasted the same. Like nothing. Not tart, not sweet. I swirled original and chocolate-​orange and every spoonful I experienced was loaded with toppings — just so I could savor something. Texture was nice though.
Personally, I see no reason to return. I think most of the college student regulars don’t know how creamy and delicious this stuff can be. But then again, its not like western Massachusetts really offers the best of anything (at least when it comes to food).

I received a wonderful and conscientious response from the owner of GoBerry. This is most unusual in my experience and I am impressed!
I have decided to stop getting toppings because a. oreos make me fatter and b. I can then save a buck. So my problem there is self-​solved for now. The owner assures me that portion size is something they are aware of and working on.
Big thumbs up to the owner for not taking me to task (as has happened to me twice in owner-​responses to other reviews – the nerve!) and for being kind and responsive.
Still waiting to see if there’s any wiggle room on the flavors, to increase the boldness…

GoBerry is yummy and local. Employees very fun and knowledgeable about their product.

Good product, they only have three flavors, but great topic selection.
Pour some chocolate sauce on your treat and it adds a new level.

I was a little sad to see that the new Amherst location opens a little later in the day (noon instead of 11) in Amherst, but not the end of the world. We grabbed a coffee 30ft away at Amherst Coffee while we waited.
Same amazing frozen yogurt as the original location, of course. Main difference is the space is a bit smaller. Toppings list I am sure will generally be a bit shorter, but they still have two flavors plus the delicious original.
I am extremely excited to have a good alternative to Barts in town FINALLY. Barts has been hitting rock bottom and trying to tunnel deeper. This may be the nail in their coffin.
The location is a fun one, right near Amherst Cinema and Amherst Coffee, an area of town that has been expanding and growing and has a lot of great little shops.
