History

Established in 1994.

Master Gorino is a 6^th Degree Black Belt with over 30 years experience in the martial arts, as well as a Master’s Degree in Education, Counseling, and Music. Master Gorino’s Pil-​Sung Tae Kwon-​Do has been recognized worldwide for excellence in martial arts, is a member of the RSA, USTW, PMAEA, and the BBB, and has graduated over 300 Black Belts.

Business Owner

Master Chuck Gorino was born in Buffalo, New York. His interest in the martial arts started at an early age; however, it wasn’t until later in life that he was able to pursue his dream. After graduating from college with a degree in Music Education, Master Gorino worked as a professional musician in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. While performing with a band, Master Gorino was introduced to Karate by a lighting technician, who was a Black Belt. Their informal, daily training sessions reignited Master Gorino’s desire to learn a martial art. When Master Gorino moved back to Buffalo, he trained with various Karate and Tae Kwon-​Do teachers before meeting Grandmaster Robert Summers. Master Gorino and Grandmaster Summers studied, competed and tested together under the direction of Grandmaster Jong Soo Park. Master Gorino eventually opened up his own school in 1994, and tested for 6^th Degree Black Belt in 2006. He is committed to helping others better their lives through Tae Kwon-​Do.
