Peter and Merle work as a team at Sawicki Real Estate in Amherst and serve clients throughout the Pioneer Valley including many faculty and staff of the Five Colleges and three community colleges. We help you understand the market and guide you through your real estate negotiations, help protect your interests, and provide structure and support to minimize stresses inherent in engaging in complex real estate transactions. Peter and Merle V.

Manager

Peter has been a REALTOR® in this area for 25 years and before that worked in energy conservation and residential contracting. He is known for his experience in understanding the market and in actively negotiating real estate transactions to represent his clients’ best interests. He is a graduate of Hampshire College. Merle retired recently from Hampshire College where she served on the faculty and sometimes as dean for over 38 years. She currently serves on the board of the Hitchcock Center for the Environment. Through knowledge of the academic world in the Pioneer Valley she is tied into many local populations who are first time buyers or who are expanding or paring down their residential needs.
