All things considered, I have to imagine that this is the best wine store in the Buffalo area. Large, well-​lit, very well-​organized, and a truly great selection of wine from all over the world, as well as a deep selection of spirits. Not just mass-​market corporate wine but a deep lineup of well-​established wineries with good reputations, as well as some surprisingly cultish smaller producers. I walked in with the faint hope of trying to find one or two white Bordeaux (that month’s ny times wine school subject), and was pleasantly surprised to easily find all three. Very nice.

Don’t go into the food section without being dressed likes yuppie. My wife and I went there in our work clothes and were harassed by the staff as if we were stealing. We end up leavening with out what we came in for. Not very welcoming to the common man. I would not go back.

I have a love/​hate relationship with this place.
Reasons why I love it:
–they have the biggest selection of any wine/​liquor store I’ve been in
–they have a very friendly staff that is always willing to help you find something
–they always are giving out free samples of wine
–I enjoy the discounts that I get off of wine/​liquor by being a member
–they always give you rebates for your wine if any apply (I never end up sending them in but its a nice gesture)
–I thoroughly enjoy the gourmet food/​beer side of the store as well
–they have a cool little chiller up front on your way out if you want your wine/​beer/​liquor to be cold right away
Reasons why I hate it:
–it is a huge place and I can never find anything on my own and hate having to constantly look for someone to help me find things
–they denied me on my 21ST BIRTHDAY because they «didn’t know the exact time I was born» lol k rude. so I went across the street to caputi’s liquor instead :)
–they have a ton of security standing around grilling you while you check out. I guess this is a good thing but makes me feel uncomfortable
–it is located off of Niagara Falls Boulevard, and while it is close to my house, it is such a busy street and a pain to go to
I guess the reasons why I love it outweigh why I hate it but I will only come here if I’m shopping for multiple things. Its too much of a hassle and inconvenience if i’m only running in for one thing! But I think it is a great addition to the area!

Ordered wine for Christmas on 12÷15− the order was received on ¹²⁄₁₈ in perfect condition, and all wines were correct brands and vintages. I would highly recommend this company because their online store,
is so easy to navigate and they had all the hard-​to-​find– wines I was looking for.

You can not go wrong with this place. They have literally EVERYTHING you could possibly want. Food, beer, liquor, wine, a deli, kitchen goods and more!
The location is always pretty busy, but honestly this is the only place I ever go for my alcohol. It’s also a good place to go to for unique gifts!
The staff is friendly and helpful. Anytime I come in looking for a special beer, wine or liquor someone is always there to help me!
Now let me warn you… you will spend at least two hours, if not longer in this place. There is so much to explore and look at! They offer so many unique things. I could spend all day in here if I had the time. The prices are great, I never go anywhere else for wine except here.
They have a great selection of local products too! Certainly spend the time and look around, it’s well worth it!

I love a great wine! Being a regular Wine Tourist, I can appreciate sampling different flavors of wine. I come here when I know what I want, and when I don’t and just feel like browsing the wine racks. The prices here are fair, you can run across the occasional store specials. Many great locations, always well-​stocked and tidy.

Bountiful wines and liquors as far as the eye can see. There are plenty of staff members and a whole area of wine experts to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. There is an excellent staff picks section that features a variety of recommended wines tailored to several price points.
Their best promotion is Double Up for a Buck: you can get two bottles of select wines for only a dollar more than the standard price. They also have a «bottom of the barrel» section with slashed prices — I saw a bottle of wine the their day for $ 3 with a mail in rebate!
There is tons to try and tons to explore, with courteous, expert staff to help you along the way. Also, Premier Gourmet is next door with fresh ground coffee, a deli, kitchen equipment, every craft beer under the sun and more. I definitely recommend visiting next time you need a wine fix. Cheers!

I checked this place out yesterday because frankly, I was bored. Holy cow. Any form of alcohol you could imagine is in this place. From cheap wine, to VERY expensive wine, they have a wine connoisseur in a suit. If liquor is your forte, they have it all. They also have a fun little airplane bottle area I ended up in. I may return and buy a nice bottle of wine for a special occasion — who knows.

It has a great selection.
BUT if you buy sale items, you have to check whether you’re charged correctly. In many cases the register doesn’t reflect discounts. It happens almost every time I shop here.

THE place to go for wine, the staff knows exactly where every wine is everytime I ask. Today I stopped to get some 999 Broadway, a concord loganberry wine from Chateu winery and Premier is one of the few places that carry it. The shelf was empty but the friendly staff quickly brought out a new case for me to pic from.

I will have to admit I preferred the old location over the new location. I think since the move there has been a big change in the staff’s attitude. The wine department is great and the staff always greets me and is helpful in helping me find wine and finding new wines and bargains too.
I think the cheese department is a shadow of it’s former self. I do not think they have the variety of cheeses they used to have, but what is more bothersome is the staff. They never greet me or ask me if I need help. They spend more time gossiping to each other and ignoring customers than they do helping us. It is very sad. I think I really need to find a new place to buy cheese, Honestly I think Wegmans is as good or better than Premier.

I love going to première. It really is a unique experience.
When you first walk in you have the option of going to the left (a remarkable selection of liquor and wine) or to the right which is referred to as première’s gourmet store. Don’t get me wrong, I love liquor and wine but I much rather go right. The gourmet store has a wide selection of Buffalo’s best craft beer, a housewares department, an assortment of coffee beans (roasted on premises), an incredible selection of gourmet grocery items, a bakery, and a deli that has some of Buffalo’s best artisanal cheeses.
Whenever I go into the gourmet store I buy one or two things I’ve never had before just to experience them. My favorite find so far is Jeni’s ice cream – all flavors, all kinds!

First time here, I was amazed at the size. I quickly knew I was out of my realm so I asked one of there very helpful associates to lead me in the right direction. I see myself coming back here again.

Wines galore !
I dropped in the other day to buy a bottle of wine to ring in the New Year. The selection is so large that it can be overwhelming; however, this place is well staffed with people available to help you. I first discovered Coppola’s wine back when I went to Northern California; Premier carries a number of Coppola wines (which I can’t find in Toronto). I had to buy myself a bottle to take home with me to Toronto.
Anyway, if you’re in need of a bottle of wine, check out Premier. @Ontarians: you realize how much we’re taxed on alcohol… visiting here may make you cry

This place is amazingly huge! The wide assortments of liquor is phenomenal and he prices are reasonable.
The shelves are always nicely stocked and the service is top notch. Whenever I walk in, they always seem to have someone providing samples and educating you about the type of sample. Further, if I am walking through the aisles and have question, the staff have always been very helpful on the question at hand.
For the holidays they even have a section with various bottles packaged up in boxes with an included special items such as wine glass or flask.
They also offer Wine Mind which is an occasional class throughout the month where you formally sample wine and they tell you how it’s made and what to pair it with. A must do!

Pro: it’s huge. I realize that size isn’t everything, but you have to admit, it’s pretty damn impressive.
Pro: staff is super friendly, and tries really hard to be helpful. Unfortunately it seems the only thing they can really do is make recommendations (which they’re happy to do, and seem to be good at) and look up inventory in a computer.
Con: prices are only good for items on sale. Premier’s every day prices aren’t that great (higher than several much smaller stores), but their sale prices are awesome. Fortunately, it seems they have a LOT of stuff on sale.
Con: You have to sign up for a card in order to get the sale prices. I hate stores that play that game.

I wanted a wine on sale for $ 10, but I didn’t want a premier card.
I explained that I didn’t want to give out my personal information.
The cashier told me I couldn’t get the sale with out my card.
I asked the less than bright cashier if I can use another persons card in back of me on line, but she still said no.
???
I will never go back to premier ever again. There are plenty of other liquor stores where I do not have to give out my personal information so they can sell it to a 3^rd party.

By far the best liquor store in Buffalo (from what I have seen at least).
When you walk into Premier Wine and Spirits you have two doors to choose from, both of which lead you into wonderlands of selection and pre-​inebriation.
Take a left:
You walk into a MASSIVE warehouse like space with high ceilings. You are hit with their impressive wine selection which takes over more than half of the store. Usually there are vendors offering tastings of their wines right when you walk in which is nice.
Walk all the way to the left and you will then be where the liquor sits. The selection (of both wine and liquor) is very impressive and sometimes a bit overwhelming. If this store doesn’t have it, you probably need to special order whatever it is you are looking for. I also like the various ratings and reviews they have on their liquors. It helps me make a decision when trying something new.
There is really nothing to not like about this side of the building. The prices are very reasonable and sometimes amazing due to the rebates they often offer.
Take a right:
You walk into a marketplace with high end pantry items, cookware, and an impressive beer selection. If you have a growler, you can fill it up in here too. I do believe there is a deli/​bakery in here as well. I sometimes wander in here after I get wine/​liquor and grab a six-​pack of «exotic» beer that I have never tried before if I am feeling adventurous. That’s about it though, everything else here is usually pretty expensive for my budget.
I pass by 2 – 3 liquor stores before I reach premier. It is that good. See for yourself.

A really well stocked and well organized Wine and Spirits store.
It has a great selection, and it is located right in front of the Premier Gourmet store that has a great selection of beers. Who would’ve thunk it? Beer, Wine, and Liquor in one convenient location.
But I was most impressed by the great selection, of almost everything!

Employee: «Hello! Is there anything that I can help you find?»
Us, upon seeing the vast expanse of wines and spirits cast in front of us: «Um…we’re from Pennsylvania…»
Employee: «Ah…so you’re in heaven, then!»
Us, still wide-​eyed: «Basically, yes!»
With over 13,000…yes…THIRTEEN THOUSAND bottles of wine (according to the employee who helped us), and an immense whiskey selection, there’s really no better place to shop for such things. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with their selection, but it’s worth taking some time and looking around. The aisles are nicely labeled with regions and countries so you can search pretty quickly. You can also search their online site and buy online to pick up in-​store. Although, I noticed that they didn’t seem to have everything in store listed online.
Also, as a scotch drinker, Premier might be unbeatable. Their aisle of scotch was impressive, but I quickly realized that they didn’t have any bottles on the shelves that were above $ 100. Not to worry, though… if you’re looking for something a little more hard to find or costly, ask an associate to see the reserve room. You’ll be pleasantly surprised. You may also notice that their prices in the reserve room, while obviously expensive in the first place, are a little higher for some bottles than you’ll see in other places. Of course, sometimes the premium cost is worth it if the availability is in front of you.
Their bourbon selection is also pretty good, but after seeing the rest of the store, I was actually slightly underwhelmed by the bourbon selection. That’s obviously relative, though, so it’s nothing to balk at!
With a helpful, positive, and knowledgable staff, plus an incredible selection, there’s no need to shop anywhere else if you’re local!
