Description

Specialties

We specialize in single origin coffees, or varietals. These originate from high altitude, (3,500ft — 6,000ft, temperature 60 – 75 degrees F) shade grown regions of South & Central America, Africa, Indonesia & Asia. Each region offers its own distinctive flavor profile.

History

Established in 1990.

Rao’s Café reopened in March 2010 under new ownership with the same delicious coffees and teas, and an expanded vision as a local coffee shop. Ken Majka of The Lady Killigrew Café and Bob Lowry of Bueno Y Sano restaurants are the new owners of Rao’s. They welcome your comments and suggestions.
