Our Learn to Skate program is the largest program in Western New York and 5^th largest in the entire USA. We offer programs for:

Skating is an excellent source of exercise and entertainment for the entire family. Parents, kids and grandparents can all get involved!

We offer classes at Leisure Rinks, Holiday Twin Rinks, East Aurora Healthy Zone Rink, Hamburg Town Arena and now at Canalside!

History

Established in 1997.

Skate Great is now the largest Learn to Skate and Beginner Hockey program in Western New York. We are among the top 5 largest programs in the entire USA. Our alumni include Team USA, USHL, NAHL and NCAA athletes. We pride ourselves on teaching the skills required to take you from your first steps on the ice to the next level of your sport and «turning beginners into champions».

Meet the Business Owner

Jessica R.

Business Owner

Jessica is a U.S. National Champion and Eastern Sectional Competitor. She is a US Figure Skating gold medallist in Moves-​in-​the-​Field, Freestyle and Dance and has completed the International Dance test level. Jessica is a North Atlantic Gold medallist, Junior National Competitor, 2-​time Empire State Game champion and 3-​time bronze medallist. She earned the gold and silver medals at the State Games of America and performed in the opening ceremonies for the Amherst Pepsi Center with headliner Brian Orser.

Jessica has a B.A. in Communication from the University at Buffalo. She is CPR and First Aid Certified and was a Certified Aerobics Instructor with the Town of Hamburg.
