Branching Out Tree Service

I called for an estimate and Dennis came out the same day. His estimate was very reasonable compared to others I received. We set a date for the work to be done in three weeks. A few days before the scheduled work he called to ask if he could come another day. I had made it clear that the fence people were coming the day after him. He came as scheduled. They did not remove slit of the debris and did not get deep enough to remove the roots and they gauged the sidewalk. Called Dennis about the sidewalk and he assured me it would be taken care of. It’s been 6 months, he no longer returns my calls. I would never recommend him.

I solicited five different companies for quotes and Branching Out came in the lowest. The salesman was very friendly, but truthfully, it wouldn’t have mattered if he was jerk, I was all about price. I had three large trees removed and their stumps ground. The salesman threw in a fourth stump that was left in my yard for free. Branching Out called me the day before and gave me an ETA for their team. They were a few hours early the next day. They did the entire job in about an hour. They were so fast I barely made it back from the bank in time with the money to pay them. Overall I was impressed with the price and quality of the job. I can tell you that only one guy on the job spoke English and that none of the other employees had green cards but I think that is the status quo today. I almost didn’t use Branching Out because I read the other review here but I gave it a shot and it worked out just fine. The price I paid with Branching Out was less than half the highest quote I received for the same work.

STAY FAR AWAY from Branching Out Tree Service, they are awful. After getting 3 estimates, Branching Out Tree Service came in the lowest. The co-​owner Dennis seemed nice to deal with on the estimate, but he never showed up the day of the job. His partner Hermie came in with the crew to do the work and started complaining immediately — this is too much work for the price quoted. That is a discussion he should have with Dennis, not the customer. I should have known better at that point. I had a lot of trees with vines and branches that were behind my pool. They cut them down, but then left all the vines and branches on the ground. When I stopped back midday I spoke to Hermie about this and told him this stuff had to go, he nodded. When I came back at the end of the day all the debris was still there. My wife hadn’t seen it and paid them. I have been fighting for them to come back and clean it up, and after waiting several weeks Dennis finally told me today they are not coming back unless I give them more money. You have to be kidding right? Who cuts down trees, branches and vines to leave them in their yard. Stay far away from this company, they are unethical and will not perform the work they are contracted for.
