An honest lawyer? Sounds fishy to me too but I swear that’s what you’ll get here. I went to closing for a coop in Queens yesterday. I had hired Richard as my lawyer on a recommendation from a friend. First, when I hired him, he sat down with me for over two hours to go over the contract and answer any and all questions I had. He put my mind at ease and I was very comfortable with him. My parents liked him as well and plan on using him for their wills. After that meeting and after I retained him as my lawyer a million complications arose. He handled each one for me with little interruption and worry on my part. He spent so much time on this I couldn’t believe how aptly he handled everything. His paralegal Eileen was also amazing and spent hours on the phone with me when I grew concerned about things. Every time I called (which was often since I’m a worrier) someone answered the phone and I was able to speak each time with either Eileen or Richard directly. They work very long hours as evidenced by emails received at night, phone conversations that took place after 6:00 p.m. And even a meeting held on a Saturday. I truly cannot say enough about this place and these people. They’re amazing. If you need a will or are closing on a house or coop please consider using them. I never knew lawyers could be nice and honest. He’s a rarity I’m sure and I feel lucky to have used him.
