History

Established in 2013.

Attune Piano Services started August 2013 in Anchorage, Alaska but moved shortly after to the state of Washington. It was temporarily based out of Renton, WA doing contract work with Davis Piano Service and Promet Restoration while apprenticing with Del Fandrich of Fandrich Piano Co. studying piano rebuilding, design and fabrication. Now permanently based out of Anacortes, WA servicing Skagit/​Whatcom Counties and the San Juan Islands.

Attune Piano Services has been and continues to service Southeast Alaska Communities of Juneau, Haines and Petersburg since 2013.

Meet the Business Owner

Vada D.

Business Owner

Vada Dunford is the owner and piano technician of Attune Piano Services. She grew up in Chugiak, Alaska but stumbled across piano tuning in her late 20s while working as a medical administrator in Anchorage. Coming from a musical family with a mother who was trained as a concert pianist turned music educator, it felt natural for Vada to pursue the field of Piano Technology. She apprenticed with Alaska Piano Services and later become co-​owner for several years enjoying the opportunity to work all over the state of Alaska. She now enjoys running her own business in the state of Washington while continuing to refine her skills as a business owner and piano technician.
