Absolutely loved the double crunch rolls. I will definitely go back before I go back home.

Amazing and hand selected fish. The staff is out of this world. the chef is incredibly informative and knowledgeable. Always a personal and happy experience. I can’t describe my love for the staff, the quality of the food and the many many laughs. Please come here and don’t order from the menu. Ask the chest to recommend everything. The Japanese raw scallops and the Ono are to dieeeee for.

I am a creature of habit. I love their poke bowls and very seldom venture to other items. But if I do stray, I order the Alaskan Roll. Service is always great and it is one of my favorite neighborhood spots.

Sitting here right now enjoying one of my favorite dishes, yellowtail collar. Boss man recommended a beautiful fresh fish sashimi that tasted really clean and fresh. I like the atmosphere here, feels like a family that really wants to feed you good food when you get here. I’ll be back with some friends soon.

Desperate as can be for ramen, I stopped here one night considering it’s literally down the street from me. I should have known that this is a sushi joint and not a ramen but even then they can’t even execute sushi properly.(I’ve been here before and sadly the best thing is their musubi(spam, rice, seaweed). I ordered the ramen combo, Beijing Ramen(already knew it was fishy if they have ramen named after other capitals), chose it with the heart attack(deep fried cream cheese and spicy tuna stuffed peppers). Best thing I had for the whole meal was the nice steamy, salted edamame. When the heart attack came out I already knew I messed up. So in appealing in color. Drenched in their«3 homemade sauces», pretty sure it was just spicy mayo, eel sauce, and idk what else. The mayo was too overwhelming. Presentation wise, horrible. Ate the whole thing cause I was starving. Then the«ramen» came. Once again presentation was a fail and so was taste. The bean sprouts weren’t blanched at all. Look like a bowl of phở. Bean sprouts were literally floating on top of this«ramen». Yes, the noodles were ramen, but the broth was just watered down miso soup with chili for color. The chasu was the only good thing from this bowl of ramen. Also the egg was so over cooked… Couldn’t even finish the bowl, just ate the chasu and left it as is. Never again. Service, VERY friendly. However, they seem inexperienced and awkward(then again the two girls look like their in high school/very young). However, the only reason why I’m even rating this place with 2 stars is cause of service.

I love this restaurant! Okay I’m Japanese so I’m really picky about Japanese foods. Since I’m used to the traditional Japanese Sushi menu, I hardly order rolls in any sushi restaurant. I hardly feel rolls are good for me. I love their Poke bowl and Ramen!!! They’re my life savor. I was missing ramen and nice rice bowl menus, and they fulfill my needs so good always. I really like the owner chef and waiters. A lot of Japanese restaurants hire the Asian people but I like this restaurant because they have the waiters who speak perfect English with the American style serving. I feel more comfortable. Thank you so much for your great job!

Have probably gotten the no-rice rolls close to 100 times here. THAT is how good they are. They are made with soy paper and taste delicious. I’m on a pretty strict diet so it’s nice to have something that kind of feels like cheat food, but is still a good pre-workout meal. My boyfriend always asks to come here for a poke bowl too. :) The service is very polite and quick. Perfect for a less expensive date night. Totally quiet enough to have a nice conversation and yummy food.

This place is a gem! I’m afraid to give a great review because I don’t want to create a line out the door. But, when you like something you want it to stick around forever. The sushi quality is great, on weekends the owner orders specialty items… fresh toro, live sweet shrimp, live Japanese scallop, etc. This place rocks! We come so often my daughter has become a regular and they know her order it’s awesome. Great food, and great service. If your going to support your local restaurants… start here. DOMO has become our family favorite, whe my parents to back to visit my wife and I here in Anaheim hills they always request Domo sushi.

This place is a pretty good local spot but lacks the ambiance of many of the other sushi places just a few miles away — and it’s really not any cheaper.

I don’t know what the other people are commenting on. We tried Domo’s for the first time. Had the lunch special with the junior poke bowl. Fish was fresh tasting and price was reasonable. Menu said comes with salad, soup and rice. We did not get the soup, but the salad was very fresh and. A large bowl, getting two out of three was not bad and I was full after. Poke bowl was really good. We will come back soon

The plan was to get El Pollo Loco, but we changed our mind when we saw the sushi place. Poke bowl($ 13.95): they claim this as the best poke bowl. I beg to differ. It was not as good as Pokinometry(the best poke bowl for me), but it was pretty good for the area. Salmon teriyaki, with 4 pcs shrimp tempura($ 16.95): the miso soup was bland, the salmon was moist, and the shrimp tempura was meh. 3 stars! Domo Sushi is almost yummylicious!

Domo does a great job. I bring my kid there and he loves it too. I suppose if you want the staff and patrons to love your kids as much as you do you should check out the Burger King next door. They have a playground too. The fish is outstanding and the selection is very good. Domo has Uni almost everytime I order it. Never once had a dirty dish and never once wanted to send something back because I decided it «didn’t taste right». Some folks want their asses kissed I just want delicious sushi and Domo has it!

If you’re hungry and craving sushi in Anaheim Hills but certainly don’t want to break your bank, then this is the place for you. One of the things I like about this restaurant is that it offers BOGO50% off duplicate rolls, meaning if you order 2 California rolls then one of them would be half off. The quality of the sushi, however, is nothing more than average. Decent portions but nothing about their sushi leaves me wanting more. It’s a very small restaurant in here so it can get pretty packed very easily as they only have seating for about 30 people or so, including the bar. The service wasn’t amazing and the waiter hovers over you from a distance which kind of made it very intimidating to order my meal because he was waiting so long nearby. I love to order miso soup and edamame as an appetizer and while the edamame was perfectly boiled and salted, the miso soup was far too salty in my opinion. I wouldn’t immediately cast this restaurant aside as it is a decent place to dine, but at the rate I’m paying I’d rather pay for AYCE sushi.

We live nearby and decided to give this place a shot. They were very accommodating and friendly. The décor wasn’t anything amazing, but it’s just a small layed back sushi joint. We will be back, we enjoyed ourselves. Here’s a few tips from us: –The miso was too salty –But the sushi was fresh and delicious. –The service was friendly. –It’s a little pricier than it should be for some items. –The menu is too chaotic and confusing.

It is bad! Not even just a little bad, but a lot of bad! The tired décor doesnt really bother me that much, but what does was the taste, quality, and overall attitude of this establishment. The food: OMG I just can’t! The sushi was NOT fresh, the Ramen noodles were the WORST Ramen noodles I have ever had in my life. The Garlic edamame was sour yet bland… I would suspect that they use rice vinegar when they are preparing these, and the fried tofu was soggy(yes, I did just say soggy). Little side note – when you order the special and select the 6pc sushi(two tuna, two salmon, two albacore) you dont really get that… you get whatever the sushi chef wants to give you at that moment. Their spicy tuna heartattack left a lot to the imagination… I mean AAAALOOOTTT. Aside from the food being TERRIBLE! I must openly admit that I find it rude and down right disrespectful when they begin placing the chairs up onto the tables while you still have guests in your restaurant eating. It takes two minutes to do. Couldn’t they have waited for us to leave in order to table stack? Bottom line is… I wouldn’t come back… EVER!

Worst sushi I’ve ever had. The quality of the fish here is very low. More like packaged fish. Not fresh whatsoever. The atmosphere is kind of awkward. You can dress up in your pajamas here and fit right in. Domo, I won’t be coming back. Fix up the place and get fresh fish please.
