Absolutely a Great Arena to get out with Friends and family have a Great Time…
The staff is Great… Helpful and Patient as u know mixing alcohol with any activity can be challenging
My First time there but DEFINITELY not my last.
I’m already planning a family outing with the kids.

I’m mixed about this place. When I originally booked online, I was charged $ 45 a person for the Mother’s Day painting class, which was fine. A few days later I got an email from the owner saying there was a mistake and it should be been 2 for $ 45, so she’d be returning $ 45 back to my card. I thought that was very honest and respectable of her.
When we got there, we were running a bit late, so we felt rushed. Fortunately, there were still quite a few places to sit and we got started right away. UNFORTUNATELY, we were absolutely not able to see the instructor painting. They have TVs set up to show, but it just wasn’t the same. We had to get up several times to examine her work.
We were painting a side-​by-​side of a mother/​daughter at the beach for Mother’s Day. Apparently though, people thought it would be a good idea to come and paint other versions of what we were painting and they thought it was just fine to interrupt constantly and ask for «special» directions to paint something completely different. This was absolutely ridiculous and unfair for those of us who wanted to follow along and paint what was actually advertised. The instructor and helpers were so crazy running around and helping everyone who were changing the paintings, that those of us trying to paint the correct thing couldn’t do so. Therefore, our paintings came out sub par.
First of all, I think people should have been told that if you wanted to paint something different, you’re on your own b/​c it was unfair to everyone else. BUT if they didn’t want to do that, then they needed to have 2 instructors set up… one painting the painting as advertised at one end, and someone else helping people adjust the painting to what they wanted at the other end. At least then we would have been able to follow along.
Knowing that they try to accommodate people who want to paint wildly different things than what is advertised, I won’t be back. It’s too hard to follow along with that happening. Sorry!

What great night celebrating my daughters 21^st birthday. Amelia was a dream to work with and EVERYONE said that had a great time. The artist was patient and did a great job! Would highly recommend this venue for any occasion! Thanks again for welcoming us into your «family»

I’ve done painting like this several times now at similar places, but this was my first time at Painting Ur Way. It was also actually the most expensive I have ever paid for painting too, so my expectations were a little bit higher than my friends, who were first timers.
I came here with a group of 7 girls for a private Birthday event, or at least I believe it was a private event because it was just us. If it was a private Birthday event, there was absolutely no acknowledgment of any Birthday or celebration at all. I honestly thought the vibe of the whole place was very boring and dull — compared to all the others I’ve gone to. The music they played was good, but it was turned so low that it sent out a vibe of elevator background music. The drink menu was pretty pricey so I was pretty hesitant to order beverages to get any buzz going. (Water alone was already $ 4 – 5!) To me, the instructor was very nice and our painting turned out better than I had expected, but the vibe felt like I was in a class in college or something close to that. Bottom line, sadly to say, but I think I’ve experienced better.

Came here for my birthday and it was okay. Kinda boring and the atmosphere was dead… I’ve been to painting with a twist and it was much livelier and fun. Loud, party music and the instructor was talkative and had everyone enjoying themselves. It was my birthday and it would have been nice if any of the employees said happy birthday or something. Not one person acknowledged it. That was also something lacking that painting with a twist had done for its customers as well. The owner is very friendly though so one star for that. I think that next time I’ll go and find another one with more fun vibes.

Had such a good time with my mom tonight. It was our first time taking a painting class and it turned out to be such a lovely experience. The owner Amelia is so sweet, and genuine. Karen the instructor was awesome, so encouraging and fun. She really encouraged us to use our own style, we all had our own interpretation of the painting and they turned out great. This is such a cute activity to do with your mom, friends, for birthdays. The price is very reasonable compared to others in the area. We’ll definitely be back.

Perfect place for a fun get together with friends. Had an easy time scheduling a private party and the owner, Amelia, is awesome. She was very welcoming and it was a nice relaxed environment. Teacher was fun, engaging and not too rigid. Would definitely come back to this place (even though it was a drive for us, 45 minutes) it was worth it.

Fun night! Our instructor, Karen, was very patient and really nice. I would love to do this again.

Had an awesome time last night painting here for the second time. The studio is great. They have two good sized TV’s on the walls displaying the instructor’s canvas for guests to view while painting which is perfect with large groups like we had last night!
There was a birthday party with about 20 – 25 people, 2 separate couples on dates, our group — a couple and their moms… and yet, I felt like I was with a large group of friends in the class. We laughed and talked with those around us sharing this fun experience! We reveled at the beauty of everyone’s paintings and the individuality that made each one’s painting unique and beautiful!
The owner is extremely nice. She is committed and dedicated to ensuring that her guests enjoy their experience and that they have the most fun, exciting, and relaxing time possible! Her painting assistants last night were also incredible people looking out for the guests with the same mission and vision in mind… FUN and RELAXATION for the guests!!! She maintains an extremely clean studio. The owner has a great variety of beverages to choose from.
Our teacher was great… Possessing the ideal personality to make this learning experience both fun, relaxing, and enjoyable but also successful for the guests. All of us were extremely happy with our experience and proud of our paintings!

Enjoyed the painting class. The teacher was great and moved at a good pace. Great vibe of people. loved the music that played in the background and the variety of wine selection. The owner was very nice and all the supplies that were supplied were in good shape. clean environment. I will be back.

This was my first painting experience and I’ve gone to a few since which is why I want to leave a review. The artist Maria, was not much of a teacher– she would often rush us and snap at us to stop what we were doing and look up. She seemed irritated every time we asked a question. She didn’t really know the painting and as a result spent much time trying to figure out how to get certain colors and techniques down before teaching us. I left feeling very unhappy with my painting, and feeling stressed out and rushed. She was pleasant to talk to, but I would rather go somewhere where I have fun. I wish I had something nicer to say but I want to be honest.
The studio itself is nice, and I liked that they have hair dryers and spacious tables.

Went for a holiday office party. We had so much fun. Karen was a great teacher and so encouraging. I’m not good at painting, but had a blast. Highly recommend!

This was my first time ever to paint on canvas. it was so much fun! With a group of girl friends, wine and a great instructor, we could not go wrong. Thank you Amelia for this wonderful atmosphere… we will definitely be back. Best of luck and God bless!

This was my first experience at a wine and paint night and I had so much fun! Kevin A. got us a Groupon which came out to only $ 25/​person. He chose the couple-​y-​est painting ever: side by side paintings of intertwined branches that forms a heart. Turned out to be really sweet and fun to paint something that connects to another! I’ve seen tons of people do paint nights before, but I haven’t seen one that does paintings that connect. I liked that both sides were unique to the person’s style, artistry, and color choice, yet they connected to form one final image. We had such a fun time, the instructor was very enthusiastic and went at a great pace. I would suggest arriving 10 – 15 minutes prior to your reservation to purchase a drink, choose an easel and get settled. Enjoy!

Context: Review is based on two separate occasions I’ve been here. Both times were for my company’s employee after work event for about 25 people the first time and 15 people the second time
Planning the event: Amelia, the owner, was super friendly in helping us plan our event with us. She answered all of my emails promptly, and was never annoyed with all the questions we had! She gave us a good deal for our huge private party group, was flexible with how we paid and made sure we had our RSVP lists ready. Thanks Amelia!
Actual event: Had a blast both times. I’m really not that great at painting but it was a fun event, nevertheless. I liked our first instructor a lot! I had to leave early but I had a great time. I felt as if our second instructor, however, I was lost with her teaching. I wish she had gave us more thorough instructions before me started doing the paint strokes. However my coworkers had a blast and everyone had a good time and at the end of the night everyone’s paintings looked good. Amelia was always consistently making sure we were attended to and had our drinks and paint refilled.
Environment: The setting was super nice, like a private paint party that’s specifically for Paint Nights. They play nice soft music and there’s just an awesome atmosphere all around
Price: We paid $ 25 per person, which was an awesome deal!
Overall: I highly recommend this business if you’re looking for a cute date night or girls night. Thanks Amelia for everything!

This vendor totally cares about their customers! Amelia emailed me and said they expanded their selection of paintings. I checked out the site and it has wonderful paintings now. So much prettier than Paint Nite!

The best birthday experience! The owners were so nice and accommodating, the artist was great, and the night was indeed memorable. What can be better than drinking, painting and hanging out with friends? I can’t wait to come back!

To preface this experience, my party and I arrived late to our appointment (our mistake!), and therefore we lost time just settling down and purchasing our wine. I definitely recommend coming 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time so that you can make use of your entire allotted time to paint.
Perhaps because of our untimely arrival, the session was not led in its usual way (with more time spent on teaching the participants rather than just moving quickly through the steps). That was my first paint and wine class. I’m not familiar with the way sessions are usually led (or perhaps they’re different at various locations/​businesses), but I wish I was told more about why certain strokes lend to different aspects to the final painting (depth of perception, highlighting to mimic the way the light falls, colors to show fluidity, etc.) Instead, for most of the time I was throwing paint onto the canvas just to keep up with the instructor, without much thought as to why I was doing what I was doing. There was another group also in our class who kept up with the instructor and began painting at the correct start time. That made me think that our session was probably not an anomaly in terms of how it was taught, but that sessions are typically run in this manner to finish the painting in the allotted time.
Aside from the painting itself, the staff were very warm and welcoming. They were attentive and had extra paint at all times should anyone need it. At one point the place grew very warm, and one of the staff members brought out a large fan to keep everyone cool. Near the end of our session, a woman was so kind to let me have the construction paper atop their tables to wrap my painting so that the paint doesn’t get in my car.
As mentioned, I’m not familiar with paint and wine classes as far as their structure and content goes. However, I do recommend that classes be more educational and tell more about why certain colors or techniques are used (as opposed to just saying «use dark blue here and use light green there»). I will say that the service at this particular location was excellent.

My friends and I came here for a girls activity, there were only five of us total (3 in our party and another couple).
The staff was nice and helpful. The artist was friendly and offered to help us. They played background music which was relaxing and served beverages in the back, they have everything from water to soda to the bubbles.
Since we were a small group, I think the time went by pretty fast and we finished about a ½ sooner than planned. Our «painting» was a sunset with palm trees, it was fun and relaxing.
I definitely want to come back with my husband to do the paint ur pet, sounds like so much fun!

My boyfriend and I went to Painting Ur Way this past Saturday. We used a Groupon for this visit, but we will definitely be returning in the future. The staff was welcoming and attentive! We really enjoyed the music played during our session, and they offer drinks for purchase. I can’t wait to return and improve my painting skills.
