Pet Sitting With Cynthia

Cynthia is the best thing that ever happened to us, hands-​down.
We have a menagerie of cats and dogs and occasional fosters which is always growing. We used to rely on friends and neighbors to help us ‘babysit’ when we were away, but that comes at a price and is not always reliable. We had been considering hiring a pet-​sitter for a while so after a lot of research (and I mean A LOT), we decided to hire Cynthia.
Right from the start I knew we had made the best decision possible for our fur-​babies. Cynthia showed up at our door for our introductory ‘Meet and Greet’ session with a smile and a huge portfolio of handwritten and typed testimonials and photos from past clients for us to read, which she let us browse through while she met our ‘kids.’ As an animal lover I can tell right away if someone loves animals — Cynthia absolutely adored all of our animals, and within minutes of arrival she was cuddling with one kitty while the other came out to see her — unheard of with our other cat, who usually hates all people apart from me!
Cynthia is super friendly, calm, upbeat, and radiated warmth and positivity. Within minutes of meeting her I felt confident enough to hire her and give her the key to my house — and let me tell you, I can’t say that for most people in my life! In addition to that she brought with her a detailed questionnaire for us to fill out about our pets and their various likes and dislikes, plus contact info for our vet and emergency contact numbers. She was very professional and I knew intuitively that I was leaving our babies in good hands.
During our first true vacation in a long time I was surprised and delighted to receive a stream of pictures and video of our babies during each of her home visits. Cynthia asked thoughtful questions about all our animals and their personalities and I was amazed to receive texted video of her brushing our ‘crazy cat’ who was purring and sitting on her knee — even my fiancé of 8 years can’t even touch that cat! I was very impressed.
In addition to feeding our cats, Cynthia also recently helped us out by making house-​calls when our older dog had an accident jumping a fence and became lame. She got on great with both our dogs, was diligent about making sure our injured dog got his required potty breaks and was not hurt by our energetic younger dog, and even prepared stuffed Kongs for our puppy as I requested. She was also very flexible in incorporating several last minute time changes due to vet visits and work schedule changes, which was hugely appreciated.

We never have to worry about leaving our two dogs when we go out of town because of Cynthia. She’s been watching Tinkerbell and Jasmine for a few years now. She comes to our house, feeds and plays with the dogs, brushes them, even picks up their droppings, and we get photos texted to us each time she visits. Our Jasmine is on the timid side and Cynthia is very patient and takes time to comfort her. We’re lucky to have Cynthia because she does a great job taking care of our dogs. It becomes one less thing for us to worry about.

Cynthia is hands down the best dog walker & pet sitter ever!!! We have been with Cynthia for 3 years now and she has become part of the family. She walks our two dogs Cali (boxer) & Molly (dachshund) M-​F once a day and she is always so flexible. She is only a call or a text away to do a last minute visit on the weekends as needed or overnight stays as well. Cynthia gives the upmost attention and love to our dogs and truly loves our dogs equally if not more than we do! She keeps us updated constantly via text messages to always let us know when she is there and cute photos & videos to show us how the dogs are doing. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and we would give her ten stars if the rating allowed! Cynthia has been sitting our Scruffy for years! Scruffy is a Havanese, who absolutely goes crazy happy over Cynthia. Also, Cynthia is very positive, personable, puts the doggies first and truly loves them!

Cynthia is by far the most loving and wonderful pet sitter we have ever had! She watched my two kitties for us while we were away visiting family for two weeks and I did not worry one bit. She texted me and sent me pics and videos of my babies almost every day. Cynthia also took great care of our flowers and made sure everything was good with our home. I wish we still lived in California as she would still be our pet sitter. I have found a new pet sitter here in Arizona but she is no where close to her. Cynthia, Please move to Arizona! lol

Cynthia was referred to us by our vet when we moved to Yorba Linda and had no friends around us to help with our five cats when we were out of town. Can’t praise her enough but I will try — her level of care is outstanding. She not only took wonderful care of our cats but also brought in mail, watered our plants, and put out our trash cans. Even though we didn’t expect it — she would send us daily text messages and emails WITH pictures of the kitties to let us know every one was alright and how each cat was doing. She is absolutely trustworthy and genuinely cares about her four-​legged clients and does a really wonderful job!
