Terrible location but Sam strikes me as a nice guy trying to earn a honest living. Gave me $ 10 off being first time customer and let me come back for a free retest w/​in 7 days. In and out in less than 15 minutes both times. Would definitely come back.

Over Priced repairs, got same quote for Thermostat change same vehicle same parts same time frame $ 128 cheaper at another auto repair down the street This place is a rip off be warned!!!

I searched reviews on a few different places in my area before choosing this place because of the $ 30 fee (cheaper than everywhere else). When I drive up it was at a very sketchy location but I’m cool with that considering the price. I drive up and the only man there came out. I asked the price, he said $ 60. I said «$ 60? But your website says $ 30». He asked me to show him so I did. It’s on the home page, states it as if it is simply the price. I ask him if it is his website. He says yes. He says it is a special. I ask how to get the special. He won’t answer me. So I said goodbye and left. I guess I looked like someone who could be scammed in to paying double! Don’t be lured here by the advertised price, go somewhere else.

Got my smog done here back in January. Friendly employees, decent pricing, and quick service. Worth every star!

I went to this facility on Monday and I’m glad I did. I was in a hurry to get my car registered and missed that I needed a smog check. I called around checking prices and timing and the owner gave me a real competitive price and said he would fit me in. I got there and within 20 minutes I had my car certified. They are fast and efficient and I will definitely use them again.

Needed a SMOG to renew tags, found this place in Penny Saver for $ 21.95 plus $ 8.25 for Smog cert. Parking, location, waiting area super small. Ok customer service. Didnt take too long. They honored the coupon although we forgot to bring it. Good price for sure!!!

Located in a shadier part of Anaheim, I guess anywhere outside of the immediate area of Disneyland is a little shady. There’s a reason for the «Ana-​Crime» nickname. Anyway I digress. After turning into the plaza and driving past the dudes with the shaved heads, tattooed arms, baggy pants, and wife beater staring at you, you’d find A&R smog in between two car mechanic stores. With no appointments necessary, the past two times I’ve been, the owner immediately gets to work hooking up your car with one hand and the other hand holding his phone with live streaming of the games. Yes, he’s that good. While he’s doing his thing, you can survey your surroundings to access whether or not you need to duck from any stray bullets. Also you can play Guess that Chemical game! You don’t know that game? Why it’s the game where you guess the chemical that’s pooling on the ground in front of the mechanic’s garage. Is it coolant? is it petroleum? Whatever it is, it will surely keep you occupied till you get your smog check done.
Within two shakes, he’d have your smog check done, printed out, and on your way with no problems. Would I come back? You betcha! He also gives good competitive prices.

The review by Desiree G. hit the nail on the head. I, too, had the $ 30 Pennysaver coupon, and the smog check was fast and easy. Sam was friendly, professional, just hard to find the shop unless you know it is there. Through the black gates littered with cars and trucks from other shops, and on the right. I highly recommend.

Great service, Sam was professional and knowledgeable. He didn’t make me feel like a dummy, like most car shops out there. He’s an honest man and isn’t trying to rip you off. If you look in your local penny saver, you’ll find his add, you can get your car smog’d for a great price.
The place is a bit hidden but please just watch out for the address and you’ll find it. (Look for his business sign).

I found a coupon for A & R Smog in the PennySaver so I decided to go here and I am glad I did. The technician that helped was great at explaining what he was looking for while doing the smog check and coupled with the fact that I got a great price thanks to my coupon ($ 30), I will definitely be back when another smog check is required. The process took about 30 minutes and he quickly got my certificate done electronically so by the time I got home I could pay my car registration.

Sam is an awesome guy, I wasn’t passing smog at another station who didn’t know how to handle the RPMs on my car, and he was very informative and gave me great referrals on where to get my cat replaced, and repair options. I should’ve went to him from the beginning.
