A New View Windows & Doors

To be clear, I do not have experience hiring this company for what they sell or service. This review is strictly based on the following:
Today a vehicle with this company’s logos wrapped over it, a Honda with the license plate 7BWV044, cut across two lanes of traffic and slammed on his brakes almost causing an accident. He then rode the tale of the vehicle in front of him for some time. I can’t comment on whether this guy is good at selling windows or knows his product, but he definitely doesn’t respect other drivers or the law. I wouldn’t hire somebody like that at all. If you’re going to put your company name and information on your vehicle I would highly suggest hiring people who represent your company well. I would be embarrassed to have this guy work for me.

Don’t go with this company they don’t honor warranty they never call you back if they do they take there time you are just money to them Yo will be sorry if you go here go else where

My wife and I wanted to replace our windows with vinyl replacement windows. We called a few vinyl replacement window contractors and got a few bids. The bid was for 12 replacement windows. Larry Roccha from A New View Windows out of Anaheim worked real hard for our business. He was professional and never pushy. We told him to give us the best deal he could and he delivered. He beat two other bids by $ 600.00 (same product). The installation went beautiful. The windows look awesome. The installers were fast & efficient. We will use A New View Windows again when we need a few more vinyl replacement windows in the future. Thanks Again. SRC Mission Viejo, Ca.

A new view did a great job of the Windows for our home. I’ve become accustomed to dates being delayed or postponed for various reasons but we were actually pleasantly surprised when we were told that our windows had arrived early and were ready for installation!
When the guys arrived to install the Windows they worked cleanly and professionally. They were also very respectful to work around my sons nap schedule and work in a different part of the house while he napped.
On top of the excellent service they also gave us the best price of all the companies we talked with. We would definitely recommend a new view to our friends and family!

We had our windows done a few years ago and I neglected to leave a review. It was a positive experience from entering the store, talking with a representative, to installation of the windows. Eric was amazing; always getting back to us. They price matched the quote from another place, and the windows were beautiful. Installation only took a couple of days. We had about ten windows and an enormous sliding glass door to install. The workers were on time, clean, and did a great job. One window did not quite fit because there were issues with the way the previous owners installed the former window. This could not have been seen prior to removing the old window. The issue was fixed with stucco needing to be added. They did this without charging extra. One window was not the correct one. They came to replace that one when the new window came in. I recommended them to my friends who also raved about the fantastic job they did for their home. I decided that I needed to leave this review to reflect the great job they did with my home and that of my friend.

First off, windows are well done. My parents had used them right after us for Windows too. Which adds frustration. Flooring is AWFUL! Since having the windows and floors done by A New View, we just finished a kitchen remodel with another company. The number one thing I’ve learned working with tradesmen is, don’t hire a window company to do your flooring. We reached out to ANV (Jamie and Cash specifically) immediately after the flooring was done with concerns. Cash gave us some excuses about his sub but that wasn’t my problem. There are gaps, buckles, and it’s so uneven it’s embarrassing. They made a few attempts at making it right. They fixed one gap, and one area where it buckled. But the third time they sent someone out the guy ended up admitting it was just «a terrible install and it’d basically be a new job.» I was under the impression a 5 star company would send out a 5 star tradesman. Why is that our job to fix it?
Bottom line, hire them for Windows, nothing more.

I ordered a custom front door, with side lights and a transom, nine interior shaker doors, and two Anderson sliding glass doors from A New View. I am so impressed by the service Anissa provided. She has been exceptionally responsive – and never complains about all of my questions about dimensions, orders, and instructions for the contractor. She has always responded to emails and calls so quickly. Everyone loves the front door which required more planning and finesse than I received from any other company that I shopped. The painters lost a special hinge and she had it delivered to my home within days. I had already gone with a different company for the closet doors, when I found A New View, and I only wish I had found A New View earlier as the closet door people are still monkeying around getting their doors installed. A New View is topnotch!

Short version:
Would I recommend ANY of the contractors I have done business with in the past? NO!!! Do I recommend A New VIew Windows? Yes!!! They are reasonably priced, arrived on time for the quote, the measuring and the installation. The installers were polite, friendly, neat and efficient.
Long version:
We started our relationship with A New View Windows by showing up at their Anaheim showroom unannounced. I needed to see some of the window options to better understand our options. We set up an appointment for an in home estimate and Josh came out for the initial measuring. He measured everything and emailed me a quote. After we agreed to the work, Cash Jr. came out to the house for the final measurements. About 2 weeks later, our 12 new windows arrived. The two guys who removed the old windows and installed the new windows were fast, efficient, neat, polite and friendly.
A New VIew was the third window company from whom we had received an estimate. We have had some VERY bad experiences with contractors and sales people/​estimators. Our previous experiences were so bad that we were extremely hesitant to have any work done on our house and it definitely shows. Our house is old and it needs a lot of work. The other two companies were eliminated by us long before we ever found A New View.
I really do not think I can put into words just how reluctant I was to have another contractor in my house. But I am so glad I did. A New View Windows company has restored my faith in contractors and that is saying a lot!
We have 12 new, pretty dual pane windows. The job took a day and a half. The installers worked around all our stuff. We have a small house, no storage and too much stuff. It’s not old. It’s mid-​century! :) Oh, and the installers worked around our two indoor cats by completing one room as quickly as possible so the cats could be isolated in that room until all the windows were installed. This is more complicated than it sounds and the installers were very patient with us and our cats.
One window had to be enlarged to make it a legal egress. The installers did a nice, neat complete job of that.

We were looking for window installation as our old windows were getting worse by the days. We found a new view via a friend’s recommendation. Called and scheduled an appointment. Eric showed up. He was knowledgable and very nice to work with.
We were comfortable going with this company after comparing quotes from several other places. It is a costly project overall. But a new view had a very competitive pricing.
The day of the installation went smoothly. The workers done the job nice a fast. We are very satisfied with the work done.
We would recommend this company to anyone who wishes to change their windows.
Aside from a few delays of the small pieces of windows and screens, overall the staff were courteous and good to work with.

Just had two beautiful Casement windows installed by A New View. It was a wonderful experience. We visited their showroom in Anaheim and were warmly welcomed and Cash came and gave us an estimate. Windows were installed on time by a wonderful crew and our two rooms look great. The price was very competitive and the follow-​up the best. highly recommend

I wanted to update my older aluminum windows and sagging sliding door on my vintage home in Fullerton. I contacted 5 different window installers. The folks at a New View were one of the few who actually listened and provided a reasonable quote in a timely manner. They have very friendly staff and they are very professional. I made a point of meeting the owner, Cash, who is a very straight forward, family oriented, and honest business man.
Originally, I started out thinking least cost which meant vinyl windows, but over many visits to A New View and other installers I eventually decided to upgrade to a more expensive but very high quality windows manufactured by Marvin Windows. These windows were a Fibrex (Fiberglass composite paintable material). The actual Marvin windows are a bit pricey so Cash (the owner) steered me to the builders line (integrity) of Marvin windows which are more cost effective. I purchased windows made of Fibrex on the exterior due to their proven record against exterior weather conditions and termites and then I chose wood for the inside material to allow flexibility for the future (paintable and stainable).
Cash and his staff were very patient and helpful as I asked many questions and asked for and received multiple quotes for various window manufacturer and styles. I ordered a partial order (2 windows and a sliding door) from them for my house to see how they performed and to see the process. Upon completion of the first job I was very pleased with the installers and the quality of the installation.
I continued forward and ordered the rest of windows I needed in the Intergity windows line. I ordered 9 windows including a new installation of a picture window and two casements for vent windows. The delivery time was as advertised 6 – 8 weeks. They called and sent a top notch group of guys to install with Jim Kelly as the foreman. They were very clean, professional, capable, and efficient. They kept the job site clean and did a very professional job. They passed inspection by the City of Fullerton no problem.
I did not give these guys a 5 star rating because the initial sales guy was solely focused on Milgard windows and was resistant to discuss other window brands they sell. Plus, I did have to call them back to match paint on my stucco and repair a minor window defect which they had identified. They did this followup without complaint and in a timely manner.
I would not hesitate to recommend these guys for your window purchase and installation. They were very professional, honest, capable, and accommodating. I have little doubt they were head shoulders above all of the many other companies I talked with regarding my new windows. I was surprised at how much the new windows added to the look and comfort of my house. I started out thinking I just needed to replace some very old and poorly sealed aluminum windows. They really added to the vintage look of my home and I and my wife are extremely happy with our purchase. I did not expect this as I thought this would be similar to doing boring structural work.

I’ve had two casement windows and numerous sets of french doors installed by A New View over the past several years. The company has been consistently best in price, service and knowledge. It is a family owned business, run by Cash and his hardworking wife, Jamie. They understand that customer service is the first key to running a business; then, they get all the stuff after that right, as well.
Cash is the King of Knowledge. He listens to what the customer wants and helps us get it or patiently explains why he might recommend something else. I say this because I’m often looking for things that aren’t mainstream. Still, instead of pushing me into what he wants me to buy (which is what EVERY other company does EVERY time), Cash has always worked with me to get it. For instance, I wanted a specialty leaded glass in one of my casement windows. A New View had no qualms about sending the window to my lead glass person, then picking it up, delivering to me and installing it. No complaints, no hassles, they just dealt as if it was something they did daily. I loved that.
I’m a price shopper and a very picky buyer (what species is the wood? Can I get that screen after market? How much for specialty glass?) who would drive many people a little batty, but not A New View. When it comes to windows and doors, I don’t have to bother comparing companies any longer. A New View is the go-​to company.

We had 4 old window replaced to match what the previous owner did in other parts of the house. A New View helped us find the best looking match–
The job went well– quick and clean install. They had many options for windows and with the Unilocal deal we got a good price on the windows.
I will definitely call them back when I am ready to do the other side of the house.

Had HIGH expectations on using this company based upon the award received in the OC Register–
Spoke with a staff member about my needs and was very happy about the information provided. Agreed to set an appointment and get a quote. Appointment was set for the following day– fortunately I was able to take time off work and accommodate the afternoon appointment.
The day of the appt I recvd no confirmation call– not a problem– hopefully they will just show up at the scheduled time. 15 min rolls by– no call, 30 min rolls by no call– no show… 1 hr later I call and the receptionist didn’t know what happened and asked for my number and promised an immediate call back.
Another 15 min later– I have to call and ask what’s going on. She responded with «I don’t know what happened and the person scheduled didn’t call nor answer.
I cancelled due to lack of faith in commitments to keep a scheduled time– I waisted my time and potential earnings if I did go to work–
I won’t give a 1 star cause no service purchased, but 2 Star merits lack of communication and poor service to earn business.

This place was great from start to finish. From the very knowledgable staff, the selection of product, and the very affordable price point we got a great door. The best part was the person that installed our new door, his name is Jim and his attention to detail, quality of work, and super caring attitude was incredible. Simply the best work from a professional that I have seen. I highly recommend this place for your next home upgrade.

I looked at six different window installers and they gave me the best price by far.
I recieved eight windows and three sliders and they installed in two days did a great job and cleaned up nice. Feel like I got a great deal and very satisfied with the service.

Jan 17, 2014: Finally got outside to paint around the new windows. NOT happy with the sloppy stucco job that I spent half the day cleaning/​painting. I had reported this to owners and they quickly had the installer Graham talk with me. That ended on a good note. Graham is a nice man.
BUT after the mess I cleaned up outside today, I MUST add this to my review. stucco was splattered on many areas of walls. :(It took too much of my day to clean up… Sorry to report, I must give A New View installers a bad review.
Suggestion: Buy their products. When installers are finished, before they leave the premises, DO A THOROUGH WALK-​AROUND WITH THEM AND MAKE SURE THEY TAKE CARE OF CLEANUP.

A New View was excellent. We had 60 year old windows which required herculean strength to open and possessed insulating properties equivalent to that of a grocery bag.
A rep came to our house to make measurements and write up a quote. They came in well under budget (and competition) so we chose to go with them. The rep came back out and remeasured everything before finalizing the contract and ~3 weeks later their crew was at our house.
In less than one day they installed 12 Milgard vinyl windows which look and work perfect. There was an issue where one of the windows was ordered incorrect, but as soon as Milgard manufactured it, it was installed.
Throughout the process, including the ordering mishap, A New View’s customer service was stellar. I have never dealt with a better, more organized company than this.

Before we even started shopping around for a window/​door install service, our Realtor suggested using A New View after having her windows installed. She had done her own research and found A New View to be the ideal choice based on her own experience and recommendations from her clients and professional team.
Even with the recommendation, I wanted to see for myself. We received quotes from several companies and visited a bunch of show rooms. After consideration, A New View was the obvious best choice. Best pricing, quality products and selection with lifetime warranty and a professional staff that is easy to work with. Plus, A New View was able to provide us with the options and services we wanted, while other companies told us «No» or were unsure/​unable to do it.
Setting up an in-​home estimate was easy. Jaime is the owner’s wife and was always very quick to reply to my questions and emails. She’s also very knowledgeable and was always able to provide me with information needed. She’s very good!
Cash (owner) came to our home to give us an estimate. He was prompt, professional, friendly and personable. He wrote up different quotes that included different window options. Aside from our basic slide windows and slide doors, he also helped us decide on other window/​door choices that made the overall look of our home more aesthetically pleasing. And with our need for airflow, he helped us choose windows that would work best for the room. Also, we opted for the nail-​in window option which is normally the slightly more expensive option. But even so, the overall estimate was still the lowest in comparison to other companies.
Install took a little longer than expected, but we were quite pleased with the results. I’m glad they took their time to do a good job, rather than rush through it. Mark (owner’s brother) was our head install guy. Usually, he was accompanied by another guy. Together they worked from morning to late afternoon. Excellent attention to details and great workmanship. They were so thoughtful and covered our area rug and all our furniture before working on installation. After the install was completed, they cleaned and swept up everything too.
I was super impressed with Mark’s work. We kept our original front door, but had installed an operable sidelite (small skinny window next to a door that opens). Other companies denied us this option– either they don’t do it or they want you to purchase a new door accompanied with sidelite. A New View allowed us to purchase just the sidelite. And Mark installed it with precision. There was a complication due to the framing of our house, but Mark was able to remedy the problem. A true professional! From the inside, in addition to framing the sidelite, he also framed the door. This made our existing door look uniform with the new sidelite. Mark also removed our existing swing bar door lock, made some precise cuts and reinstalled it to make it flush and operable. Above and beyond! Thanks Mark!
We also learned that A New View does garage door installations. And now kitchen and baths too! We will definitely be returning to them for more of their excellent service and craftsmanship.

We purchased a house in Anaheim about 13 years ago and decided to replace the entire back and sides of the house that had been fitted with aluminum windows. The owner Cash came out personally and spent time showing us options and measuring. I always get three quotes for home improvement work and A New View had excellent pricing. Our installer was prompt, and even though he was short a helper he got the job done promptly.
Just last year we decided to replace all the windows in the front of our house, all of which were original wood and in terrible shape. We’d decided to wait a while before replacing our bay window, but the price was so good we decided to do everything at once. The came out beautiful. While the installer was here we mentioned a small bit of trim (nothing to do with the window install) had become unglued and he reglued it on the spot at no charge after nearly 10 years! While preparing out paperwork for our taxes we discovered our rebate paperwork had gone missing and Cash’s wife Jamie emailed the form directly to us.
We’ve already recommended A New View to friends. The quality of the windows, the pricing and the service can’t be equaled. We will not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone.
