Crossed my fingers and took a chance on using AAC based on all the positive Unilocal reviews. It’s true, they really deserve 5 Stars. From timely estimate to the day the work began it was a very positive experience. I had my old worn out white tiled kitchen countertops re-​glazed in Desert Store with a high gloss finish — wow looks great. We had the sink done also and my hubby installed a new faucet. Now my kitchen has a fresh new look. I did learn that you have to be very diligent about taking care of the sink as it is not covered by the warranty. When you’re done washing dishes you’ve got to remove the sink mats and any wash basins in order to keep water from standing too long and softening the coating. Not a big problem for me, I just put the stuff under the sink cabinet.

I called Terry, the owner, because of his great reviews. He was able to meet me at unit that same morning. I told Terry that I was on a short timeline and needed the bathtub, kitchen sink and counters reglazed ASAP. Terry called me back and told me he could start prepping the next day. He brought one of his team members with him and did half of the work HIMSELF! The next day, his team came back to finish the job. My gosh, the items look brand new! Terre is an AMAZING guy! He cares about people. I will, without a doubt, use Terry’s company again. Thank you Terry!!!

I would like to say nice things about this company but I can’t. We had our bathroom retiled above the tub and it came out beautifully. The bathtub finish was a little dull but still bright white and not stained. Based on the reviews, I called this local company for a quote and was told $ 350. I scheduled the job 3 days after the tile was finished. This is a porcelain coated steel tub not fiberglass. When the technician showed up the price quote jumped to $ 525! I ok’d the work expecting a great job with 5 – 10 years worry free.
In summary, I got orange peel finish (not smooth) and overspray onto the tile grout line due to poor masking. In addition, the technician also sprayed the tub drain threads with his coating making it a real bitch to get the new tub drain hardware hardware installed even with a professional level tub drain wrench.
Don’t use these guys!

Landen and Robert did a fantastic job on two of our fiberglass shower tubs today! They showed up on time, worked hard, and were both friendly and professional.
Our shower tubs needed to be reglazed badly, I’m so pleased with how well they turned out!
Also love that they hire vets and support our troops.
I’d highly recommend them for reasonable prices, quality work, and outstanding customer service.

We were moving into our first home and we could not stand the dirty tub and peach and green tile we inherited from the previous owners. Since we had just purchased the home, replacing the tub and tile surround was going to be a HUGE expense. All American Coatings made it all white, clean and shiny. The tub even had a hole from some rust and they were able to fix it right up. We had some issues with drips on the first application but Robert was a true professional and told me about them before he even let me take a look at the tub. He came right back out after it dried and fixed it all up. It was kind of a pain to wait the extra 3 days but based upon how much money we saved vs replacing it all made it worth the wait.

Have used AAC twice now to re glaze my fiberglass tub/​shower and my tile double shower. Both times Terry was knocking at my door 8:00 AM sharp (appt time). Terry was very careful at prepping the area and both jobs turned out awesome! I will definitely call AAC when Im ready to sell my place so i can get both showers «touched up»
UPDATE: forward a few months… I noticed that a small area of my re coated tile shower began to peel on the floor. For some reason the coating didnt bond correctly to the grout. So i called Terry and he came by and re coated the entire shower floor. no excuses, no hassles, done! he truly backs his work!

I am as happy now as I was with the re-​glazing of a tub/​shower as I was in June.
I wanted to wait a few months before I wrote a review to make sure I would be as happy long after the project as I was when the project was completed. Everything looks as good now as it did in June.
They were so careful to protect the surrounding bathroom as well as their their work as it dried («cured»?) They provided clear instructions when to remove the masking tape and paper. And they taped a rubber glove over the faucet to prevent any drips from damaging the finish – that just sort of amused me because it was funny-​looking by the time I removed it. My tub grew a blue udder. It was needed as water drips even without a leak.
This company /​these guys are excellent!
One suggestion: rather than provide a document with just the cleaners NOT to use on a re-​glazed tub surface, make some suggestions of what cleaners are OK to use.

I too, selected All American Coatings based on their great Unilocal reviews. I am truly amazed at the results. I had a pink tub and two pink sinks re glazed and they look bright white, pristine, and new. Landen not only did the tedious prep work and beautiful coating, Terry even came out to do a few touch ups so the job would be flawless. Their work ethic and attitude make you want to refer them to everyone you know. Great service and impeccable work. We may even have them back to spray the tile countertops and tile to look like granite. It’s a great affordable option. Thank you guys!

Terry at All American Coatings is an ARTIST! He re-​glazed the bottom of our cracked shower pan in a couple of hours for a VERY reasonable price! Because he’s a master at color-​matching, he was able to glaze just the bottom of the pan, not up the sides, which saved us major bucks! On top of that, he’s a nice, trustworthy person who was kind to our grumpy toddler and excited pup :) Already looking forward to our next opportunity to hire Terry!

We had them come and glaze our old chipped tile counters with brown grout that had chunks missing. We think the owners before had the same counters for 10⁄15 years??? Either way we love the fresh clean look of our counter tops in the kitchen! I feel better now that I can prep food without worrying about old grout getting on my food! They are a must call if you need tile glazing done!!!

There is a reason why All American Coatings has great reviews… excellent customer service and quality work! I’m so glad that I found Terry on Unilocal.He is not one of those workers who just wants to do the bare minimum and get paid. He really wants to provide customers with honest opinions and top-​quality work. Not only did he reglaze the bathtub (which was nasty!) but he let me know that the kitchen sink didn’t need work but a good deep cleaning. He did the cleaning himself at no charge and sent me a picture letting me know that the sink was fine. Wow! He also showed up early and was very professional in his approach and explanation of work. If you need your tub or countertops reglazed you should definitely reach out to Terry. You will seriously be amazed by the results after he is done. OMG… what a world of difference!

Both bathrooms were pretty old and tired looking. The bathtub had cracks and the shower was just so ugly that I’m sure you felt dirty after using it. My current counter tops still make it old looking but OMGosh the shower and bathtub look FANTASTIC. Cracks and discoloration are gone. I cannot be any happier, unless someone gives me a lot of money to completely remodel my bathrooms.
Terry was fantastic and his work IS SO BEAUTIFUL IT JUST MAKES ME WANT TO CRY! I highly recommend Terry and All American Coatings. You will not be disappointed.

I could not be more pleased with All American Coatings! Terry is knowledgeable and honest, a great combination. I was prepared to have my tub reglazed but Terry said that was not necessary. A thorough cleaning of the tub actually took care of the tub issues. I had recently had some work done in my bathroom by another company and their work was sub par. Terry fixed the problems and was so quick to do so. He fixed the lousy caulking done by someone else and made my 64 year old tub look brand new! Thank you Terry. My husband and I found a couple of small hairline cracks in our guest bathroom tub that were causing a slow leak, so we immediately decided to join Angie’s list to hunt for a contractor that could take care of them. My husband phoned and spoke with Terry with All American Coatings and sent him a few photos of our tub so that he could see what he would be dealing with. He seemed very knowledgeable and was able to give my husband a rough estimate, which sounded very reasonable, so we scheduled an appointment with him to refinish our tub.
We are very pleased that we went with Terry’s company. (The second company we had contacted, never reached out to us.) Terry, the owner, was very professional and personable throughout the entire experience. He showed up exactly when he said that he would and did very clean work being respectful with our home. As a bonus our final total ended up much cheaper than the estimate since the entire frame of our tub was still in great condition other than those few cracks. We appreciate the fact that he didn’t take advantage of us by trying to up-​sell us on more work and was very honest with us. He even left us with information on how to care for our newly reglazed tub. I took his advice and immediately went to Target to sought out the cleaners he recommended. We will definitely look no further when it comes to any future work needed on any of our bathtubs.
